| Right now I'm leaning towards heading to Maine for the release... Anyone ever been to this store in Standish?
I have to assume that they are doing it "right". The last PreRelease I went to they did it "wrong", and gave away no prizes, and didn't report to DCI the results. Needless to say they didn't get a prerelease this time around...

| Cripes... Just had a scare... Little scheduling conflict.
Looks like I'm going to HAVE to go to Maine, as it starts at 2:00, and TJ's starts at 1:00. I won't be able to leave my place till around 12:00. Hour and 15 to maine, hour and a half to TJ's...
Hopefully I'll see you guys at TJ's for the qualifier.

| I was planning on going but ended spending time with my father instead, he had just gotten out of the hospital and I felt guilty about going to TJ's.
Did alot of people show up at TJ's? I'm thinking of attending their Revenge of the Sith pre-release. | |

Nationals are held at GenCon in August (www.gencon.com).
Qualifiers are completely seperate from the Prerelease tournaments. Your results are the Prerelease has no bearing on trying to make it to Nationals.
Keep your fingers crossed. Hopefully within a week they will make an announcement regarding WHEN the Qualifiers will be!

| There are now two venues in MA where you can attend regularly scheduled DCI sanctioned DDM tournaments:

Battleground Games and Hobbies

(every Wednesday - next will be April 6th at ~1830-1900)
Both sites run straight Swiss tournaments (no playoffs). Typical attendance at Rivendell is about 10 - 12 (leading to four rounds), and typical attendence at Battleground is about 5-7 (leading to 3 rounds).
Both stores are nice environments with friendly players. All new players are welcome.

| Hey Adam, I have not seen you in while now. Are you going to be at the Srat on Friday perchance. I'm thinking about making it my regular StarWars Mini night. There are a couple more people from the store who play as well, I don't think they peruse Maxminis or 201Mass.com.
