| | ACK! badly. IT was only myself, sid, don, and logan. The three of them ALL played dire bears and greenfangs. My band was not suited for regenerating dire bears. What happened to you guys? | |

| This was the night for the pre-bachelor party to get ready for the actual one. Me, Kev, G-man, Adam and Matt were all at the ODP. Just actually got home a short while ago.
Too bad about the tourney, what were you playing? | |

| From what I can understand, Chris didn't go ahead with the wall today due to the uncertainty of the weather. From what Kev told me he may be planning on doing it the weekend after the stag.
As far as your war band, I would say you were in tough against Dire Bears. I put a post in the thread that you mentioned above, but I was just curious how you thought the gold Dragon worked out. I know you said it was useless, but do you think it would have worked against other bands besides dire bear? I only ask because I have been on the fence as far as using the MGD. Did the weaken breath weapon ever come in handy? | |

| | Well, in 2 of the 3 games I didn't really use the breath...there was no point. When I did use the breath weapons very few figs failed their saves. I think it may be good with the proper support, but it only has an ac of 19. The dire bear has attacks of +19/+12. They don't miss. The fig actually cost me 2 of the games. When I faced don and richard they killed it LITERALLY 5 seconds before the timer went off. In both games I had a healthy lead on points, but the thing is worth 70 points. Once it was dead there was no chance that I would catch up. | |

| In short. Yesterday sucked. I am getting tired of 4 player turnouts.
I'm really hoping to see more people out there next time.
Pre-bachelor party eh? Sounds like you had more fun than we did. Mind you we were back in town by nine, seems the one bright side in all these 4 player days is that we always get back really early. | |

Next Saturday is still a maybe for me, but hopefully I'll get to go. Otherwise it may be July before I get another chance. At least I have Saturdays off for the summer, so hopefully once the wedding is over I'll be heading up on a more regular basis.

| We are also going to have a weekend soon that is not going to be reported, an opportunity for some fun. I've had a few thoughts that may make for a fun day, so if you have any, you should pass them on to Ray as I don't think he's decided what that day will be yet.
Personally I'm thinking 200 point extreme, or possibly a day of campaign play? Other option is of course multi-player. | |

| Personally I'd like for us to try campaign play as I haven't played that before. But if this non reporting day is in the very near future, I will probably unable to attend. If that is the case I would hope that you don't play campaign, that way a possible campaign day may come along later in the summer when I can play.
By the way, who is heading up this weekend? It's looking more and more likely that I will be there. | |

| I was gonna post here to see if anyone knew what happened last week, and what this week was going to be. Then I realized that other than notserious (who I knew was pretty sure he couldn't make it last week) everyone who posts here also missed last Saturday.
So.....I guess I'll just email the store. I'll post up later what the plan for Saturday is, I'm hoping it's the non-sanctioned day, but I have the feeling that that is next week. | |

| | Not sure why I'm posting this here right now, but in case I get no chance to talk to anyone before tomorrow, I have had a sudden change of plans, and will not be at the tournament tomorrow. My sister is being admitted to the hospital in the morning and they will be inducing labor. We expect that by the afternoon my first niece/nephew will be born. If I get kicked out of the hospital to "let them rest" before 4 I may still try to make it up, but I don't see that as being all that likely. | |

| Not sure who is who by handles here but it was night to meet some PEI minis players today at the Comic Book Hunter in Cha town.
It was a fun trip up and by far the geekiest thing I have ever done in my life, we all made it home safely (except for the car which now needs a new fan belt.)
Now all y'all need to come down to Halifax to see if one of your boys can't win the championship in our house.
Much fun was had by all, and you guys are pretty damn cool.

| Although B and I both live in Ch'town, neither of us would have been at the CH for the tournament. We play in a different store that's a fair ways out of town. Next time you come out you should post it here too though, I'd love to match up against some new players.
