I know there is a New England thread but I want all CT players/collectors to chime in here. Hoping to maybe get together at some game store to do a little skirmishing/trading/whatever.
Also, if anyone knows and LGS's that do DDM tourneys or pre-releases, post them here.

| About 30 minutes away from Danbury, give or take because of time of day and/or traffic.
Wouldn't mind going to Danbury once in a while for some DDM goodness. [:D] I'm in Newtown every few weeks. Newtown is very close to Danbury. | | Ghendar - Bringin' the snark!

| | So we just need to find a place in that area for some gaming fun. I'll have to take a look next time I go to the mall up there. They used to have a WotC store in that mall. | | Sean Banks Champion of Elementals Official Organizer Gen Con 05 maxminis Event | Winterfantasy 06 maxminis Event | Gen Con 06 maxminis Event | Winterfantasy 07 Community Event | |

| That sounds like a plan. I need to hit up some of the local stores to find some new players. It would also be nice to have some local tounaments.
We should try to find a place to play out that way. | | Sean Banks Champion of Elementals Official Organizer Gen Con 05 maxminis Event | Winterfantasy 06 maxminis Event | Gen Con 06 maxminis Event | Winterfantasy 07 Community Event

| Well, if you can stand my massive sucking. I played my first game in about eight months the other day and got my ass handed to me.
Anyway, this sounds good. Maybe get some local tourneys going? I like it. | | Ghendar - Bringin' the snark!

| I stopped by the Citadel Games in Groton CT over the weekend. Pat, the owner, is a great guy, and he encourages all kinds of play in his gaming space.
That said, he's not a DCI or RPGA kind of guy, so someone local would need to get things organized.
He was sold out of Mini's, and seemed to indicate that they were selling pretty well, but most for RPG use. That is what Lynchpt saw over in rehoboth, MA, and now they ahve 6-10 players every week for DDM.

| So Ghendar, CT is not a gaming wasteland. You have a few starting up now.
Let me know when something is set up and I'll see if I can make it out. My wife would love to spend the day shopping in Dandury so I could play... [)] She has her addictions and I have mine! Kinda, but most people responding are still from outside CT. Hmmm, wonder if there's any game stores in Danbury. I will check. | | Ghendar - Bringin' the snark!

| I checked the mall web site and didn't see anything that looked like a game store. I also have confirmation that there is NO game stores in the Danbury area, other than this one. Check the link www.cavecomics.com
It's east of Danbury right off I-84 in a town called Newtown.

| I grew up just outside of Danbury. Cave Comics was my D&D & comic book resource when I lived there - I don't know what I would have done without it! I'm in Cambridge, MA, now, but I still stop in there from time to time when I'm down there visiting family. (I picked up two Angelfire boosters there with an Efreeti and an Ogre Mage in August!) :) I don't know if Pat still owns/runs the place, but he's a terrific guy. The last time I was there, there was a table set up with some people playing Warhammer or something similar, I didn't look too closely. I'd definitely recommend that anyone who lives in the area or close enough to stop by there regularly get in touch with Cave Comics re: setting up regular DDM games there. My brother lives about 10 minutes away and doesn't get to play as often as he'd like. I'm not sure if I could persuade him to join in any regular nights that might take place there. He has tons of trade bait to offer up, too, especially some harder to find Harbinger pieces (two extra DCoLs, if memory serves)...
But anyways, to sum up: Cave Comics = good. | | Cassael's Lament - An Eberron Story Vindicated Champion of Quori Champion of the Bone Knight
