I know that some have refered to NY as the great gaming wasteland... not just limited to DDM, but all gaming.

I am located in Sidney, where there are at least 3 other players, and play in Oneonta, about an hour north of binghamton and an hour or two south of albany. On I88. My folks live near Albany, and I usually get back there at least for Christmas (I'm in Tucson now, soon to be in San Diego). If there's a game sometime when I'm around I'd make a point to be there, so be vocal. | |

| Upstate? Crazy city folk, there's a big difference between Albany, Binghamton, Buffalo, Rochester, and Syracuse...
Anyway, I'm in Rochester. I don't play DDM, but I may be up for some trading. I'm usually at Millennium on fridays (for RPGs, so let me know if you want to trade first). I live less than a mile from Baldos, I could meet there too. A little farther from Comics, Etc but could meet there as well (as a bonus, it's right across from a great sushi place if you're into such). | |

I know, if you ask someone from the city they say I'm UPstate. Now that we have some more names, I'll change it to the Buffalo region and Albany region.

| I live in SE PA between Philadelphia and Allentown. I don't mind driving 3-4 hours for a good tournament. I plan on being at the sealed qualifier in NYC on Sept 10.

| Hello. I am new to these boards, but have been playing DDM for about 6 months now. I live out on Long Island. I guess that puts me in the city category, but even that is well over an hour just to get into the city let alone wherever the game is being held. I tried Neutral Ground in the city when I first began - sometime last summer, but they told me that no one was showing up, and had all but stopped supporting the game.
After that I found Mike's Comics in Valley Stream on Long Island. I have been going there since the Angelfire pre-release and we have a group of regulars that play an official tourney once a month. We usually have between four and ten players for any given event. Our next tournament is scheduled for Saturday December 10 at noon.
While many of the players do not post on these boards, that I know of, both eMpTyKay and faust5 do. They were the ones that told me about maxminis and are much more active than I am. They also live on Long Island. It would be great to see some more people at the tournaments. | |
