are you looking for stores that carried D&D miniatures, rpg, comics, or board games? | | First peon to make it to "Knight Warlord" Completed Trades -148-

| Game Den - Best location, if only...[:)] Only loacation running major events and regular sanctioned games
Hastur Games & Hobbies - Large selection of everything. DDM related, not my favorite place to go.
The Black Rose - They know how to run events. Good lighting and the chairs will not break on you if you sit on them.
Red Dragon Games - small little shop that has singles. Sometimes you can find a great deal there, but some have been over priced.
Century Magic - Never attended.
Mind Games - small little shop with little selection, have not been to for over 1 year looking for DDM. | | First peon to make it to "Knight Warlord" Completed Trades -148-

| | There is a store called the "End Zone" in Trolley Square that sells DDM boosters and singles. They are located on the south end, second level. They have comics, baseball cards, board games, etc. They have tables and terrain for warhammer, or other such games. | | Any time you try to make something idiot-proof, someone always goes out and invents a better idiot. Game Den - Agree, great location. Seems to keep a good stock of boosters and a fair number of singles. Could offer more rares though.
Hastur Games & Hobbies - Large selection of everything. I like this place to just browse and see whats new. No DDM singles, but lots of everything else.
The Black Rose - Only been there once. No real opinion of the place.
Red Dragon Games - Ask Corim about the Dragon Lady [)]. Pricing on singles is erratic (which is to say the price might change from the time you ask to the time you pay.) but there are a decent selection of singles. Worth a visit, even just to say you've been there.
Century Magic - Didn't know about this place. Will be visiting shortly.
Mind Games - My first visit there (long time ago) I picked up DE and AR boosters. My last visit was just before AB came out. I asked when they were going to get the new set. The guy behind the counter said "they don't make minis for D&D." I tried to explain but he was too sure of himself. Haven't been back since. I wouldn't recommend a visit.

| | I am mainly looking for places with D&D minis. Thanks for all the info. I'll be checking out those places that I haven't already visited in the near future. | | | |

| As its just around the corner I visit Red Dragon Games periodically. You can often get good prices on singles there but good luck getting them before I do, as I often siphon through her minis to get all the good ones.

| The list is near complete, however there are a few more shops hidden sporadically like Press Box in Sandy (approx. 10750 So. 2000 East), under a new management/owner since I last vistited, and smaller than Game Den's whole front area.
My opinions however biased as they may be
Game Den The premeire place to play--but needs new furniture
Century Magic I used to play MTG there all the time (while working at GD), and enjoyed the atmosphere, ample play area and the random fireworks thrown into the store are the players (the perpertrators were apprehended by the aforementioned players and held till cops arrived). This was a good place for Warhammer (and may still be).
Press Box I have not been since the store was bought, but it was too cramped to really do anything and needs room to expand and stretch its legs.
Red Dragon Games I haven't been to Crazy Ladies store, nor seen Lenny her son in a long time. They are in a different location since the last time I went there, but I am quite certain about the craziness that I avoided is still there.
End Zone still has Chainmail, is in a really nice locale, and has friendly employess. It does not seem to have many people there during the times I have visited.
Hastur Hobbies has the largest, most comprehensive gaming selection in Utah, Arizona, Nevada, Colorado, Wyoming, Montana and even Idaho. I have known the employees there for a long time, and enjoy my visits there. They are Game Den's best competition in the valley and run good events.
Mind Games is primarily a warhammer shop, since that is where its owner Matt Freed's interest lies. I used to go on a weekly basis till I went and finished college, so don't know what it is presently like.
Theblackrose has the premeire event organizer for Upperdeck, Wizards of the Coast and Wizkids, no parking of its own, and runs events regularly on Sat. for the aforementioned companies at the store. I have a negative opinion on the store and will never go back.
Here is how I rank the stores
1 Game Den 2 Hastur Hobbies 3 Century Magic 4 End Zone 5 Press Box 6 Mind Games 7 Red Dragon Games 8 The Black Rose

| I visited Red Dragon Games today (AKA crazy ladies place) and I have to say that "crazy" is an understatement. She was angry with me before I even got there because I didn't buy my angelfire case from her. Not to mention she was asking $16 for a Frost Giant and $18 for an Efreeti. Don't think I'll be going back there anytime soon.
Jarvis, do you have the address or phone # for End Zone?

Planning on it unless unforseen forces act to prevent me coming this week which is doubtful. | | Fusion Creations a web design firm offering a unique blend of marketing and design with a 100% satisfaction guarantee. They focus on a higher ROI for their clients as well as superb customer support.

| | Sorry to say Century Magic has recently closed its doors. This marks the third game shop in a little over a year to close in the area. | | | |

I went there to check it out and will not do that again. Not only was it a bit of a drive from my place, the prices are way too eradic. There was a Cleric of St Cuthbert (Aberrations uncommon) for 4 or 5 dollars. There was another uncommon priced like that. They had a card for a Dwarven Defender with a 3 dollar price tag, which caught my eye, until I saw the Hill Dwarf Warrior (common) sitting on top of it. | | "Look to God and live." | | The Endzone did have some iffy pricing on their singles but the owner said that they try to sell boosters for at least a dollar less than the going price. I know that's not much compared to buying by the case, but considering I bought at least 14 single boosters while waiting for my case I definately would've bought them all there.
