| | It doesn't affect me directly since I do not live anywhere near Utah, but I think it kind of sucks that they are having it at the same day of Constructed Nationals. Its cuts out those Utah players who are going to be at Gen Con. | |

| | Although I feel bad for you guys going to Gen Con, at least that means that those of us who didn't qualify won't have to compete with some of the better players in the area. Plus if I qualify for So Cal, then I can actually go since it's not so far away! | |

I have very little contact with the TO for our events, so I do not know what the thinking is, I just hope that they have boosters for the event and not have to turn players away (Anglefire prerelese event) | |

Rather unfortunate that it is on the same day at GenCon. Would be nice to play against everyone, but I'm sure that there will be enough competition to go 'round.

| I have to say...yet again...that it is super lame to have a qualifier on the same day that the same "organization" is having a championship in a different locale (not to mention state). I will give Ian Richards an earfull about it whilst I'm trying to keep from getting my butt whipped at the championship. [:P]

I was over at the store yesterday, and asked about this. The owner (whose name is Rob, right?) didn't think that was going to be the case. He thought it would be just playing with your original warband. I seem to remember him saying that he wasn't going to be there on Sat. and wasn't sure what was being done. Sounds like there won't be a draft for the final four.

I was told by the other owner who is normally at the northern Game Den, the location of the event, that they had 10 cases comming in. As for the draft in the top 4, that is what WotC has posted, that is what they need to do. With the info pack that WotC sends with the tourney info is a Tourny FAQ sheet that informs you on the required info needed to run the event. I hope this outlines that the Draft is for the Top 4. I would suggest that we prep for either way.

Be there a few minutes early.
Rob Walker will be running the event. He is the second owner, and the one with hair. The other owner is Kirk.

No repaint. We did not get anything from wizards for this event. the package with the event FAQ did not show so nothing other then the listed cases of minis. The other items (passes and $$$) should be mailed later or passes could be picked up at the store. | |
