There's a DCI sanctioned tournament at DearMrFantazy in the city of Orange on the first and third saturdays of every month. Start time is around 10-10:30am and entry fee is $5. We usually have 8-10 people and would love more. Orange isn't exactly local to San Diego, but this is a central location: the San Diego guys drive up and the LA guys drive down. The competition level is high, by which I mean there are a lot of very good players and tier-1 bands. But everyone is very friendly and courteous, and happy to see new faces. The store owner, Shawn, is a great guy, friendly and accomodating. He sells cases for a deep discount, "$104 out the door" as he says. Address: Dear Mr. Fantazy 1040 N.
