| The second DDM night at Dragon's Lair went well. We had about 10 people. Not bad for the second night. A couple people were using maps from Fane of the Drow. Lot's of trading going around.
If you're anywhere near West Hartford CT stop in sometime. Every Thursday night starting at around 6pm, sometimes a little earlier. | |

| I have a question that is kinda hard to put any other way..
Does the Dragon's Lair still stink of Cat Urine? It was a pet shop for somewhere like 20 years.. and the stench associated with it has seeped into the walls..
I get quesy being in there for any length of time. And the last time I was there I stood at the counter for more than 10 minutes waiting for the guy "working" there to finish up a hand of poker before he could take my money.
BUT - its the only gathering anywhere near here that Im aware of. :-( Hrm. Perhaps. I might have to throttle Fenris for getting me into this game.. | |

I know what you mean. The smell is greatly improved. The only time I have an issue with the smell is when the place is packed. All the little magic geeks give off a stink. The league is on Thursdays and so far, the smell is not a problem. Stop by one time and check it out. | |

| Sweet ghendar... ill see what i can do (tight schedule) but i have a print out of the fane of loth put on a piece of wood with free sliding plexi glass on the top... its pretty sweet even though the print outs arent pefect and there is a little water stain on the map (i think my dad is going to get me made up whole from a big plotter)
I'm really glad we got something going and will try to make it whenever i can (know that one week in november i can make it cause we have a friday off... wooot) lol | |

Right now, Thursday is the main night, but everyone there is on the mailing list (you can join it if you like) so we can all keep in touch in case anyone wants to get together on the weekends.

A mailing list? How do I get on it. I went up to Dragon's Lair yeaterday and unfortunately saw no one playing minis. I bought a few boosters and headed back to New Haven. (I did get a large blue dragon, so the trip wasn't a total loss.) | |

| 200pt Constructed tourney this Thursday. I have no additional particulars and am not employed there.. just swung down hoping to get lucky with a few boosters to fill some gaps (f'ing bullette again) and was told about it.
I would imagine 6p is the start time. or there abouts. not sure if its gonna be DCI sanctioned or not. | |

| I talked to Scott from Dragon's Lair last night before I left and mentioned that we should try to set up some tournaments on weekends. He's going to explore that option.

| Probably to late for Underdark. I'd target war drums, and have the store owner/manager start talking it up with there WotC rep now to make sure they know of hte interest long before they develop the schedule.

| | I stopped by Dragon's Lair last night to witness the DDM Skirmish before I actually play in my first tournament (pre-release UNDERDARK). I just was to thank Ack, Ghendar,(Great to meet you guys!) and everyone else that was there for indulging my questions. I appreciate the open and friendly attitudes of everyone there, and the experience will ensure that I don't make a total A@@ of myself next Saturday.
