I am trying to make my way to Gen Con SoCal as well. I am looking for someone to split hotel costs with. If I go, I hope to get there on Wednesday and leave on Monday, so I would have to have a hotel for Wednesday through Sunday nights.
Please let me know if you are interested. Since I won the Kansas qualifier, I also have an extra 4-day pass that I would be willing to put up as part of my contribution to hotel fees if my potential roommate(s) does not already have their pass.

I actually made arrangements to crash with a friend in LA after not receiving any response here. My bad for not updating this thread.
