| I'd be interested as well.
The biggest problem with WF is that they don't have a firm grasp on teh schedule till pretty close to the event. As Chris mentioned, they did a terrible job of lining up the start of the RPG events with the DDM events (i.e. if you started a DDM event in the morning, likely itwouldn't finish before the afternoon RPG events started. This meant you either did RPG for DDM on a given day...).
My plan is to be there though!

| | I currently expect to be at Winter Fantasy as this event is in my Maryland backyard and would love to play in the Maxminis Tourney. My second child is due late January so that's the only event I can think of that might impair my ability to participate. | |

| Winter Fantasy is notorious for NOT having a lot of info up early... you really find things out pretty close to the event I'd guess registration will open less than 60 days prior...

| That is so true. It was also hard to preregister last year for some reason... or maybe it was just me.
It is a really good time and many of us had a blast last year playing in some great games. I liked the way they ran some of the pick up games 2 years ago, but that was the first year.

A word of caution, that we should think about:
Ian Richards(VERY) jokingly asked me where his money was to rent the tables at GenCon....
Winter Fantasy is 100% paid for by WotC. If we set up shop, and potentially conflict with other events at the show, they may not be quite so jovial about the whole thing...
Kiddoc: You've got the best "ins" with WotC, care to mention this to them and get there reaction? The other option is to play somwhere else, but where would we find the space (for free) to sit 10-20 players?

Well maybe Wizards would be nice and let us play where the minis play, just after the minis are finished. Last year the minis stuff ended around 8-9 so maybe we could do it after that.
Brian if you could that would be great, to just drop them a note. Maybe Ian could play and be a part of the fun. | |

| Ah! Good point Mark. Yes, for LG, you can't play out of region adventures accept at events like the Fiesta, I'm sure that the RPG guys would be skipping any DDM event to participate...

Other than that we know the dates and location.
We have also come to the realization that WF's dates are the weekend before WarDrums is released. That means we will likely see a WarDrums release event (perhaps that will become an annual thing...), and maybe even league play with WarDrums (that might be a stretch, but you never know...).
Right now, I'm leaning towards suggesting Sunday morning. People will cut out after lunch, but Saturday night will be a big Living Greyhawk time. Sunday morning should allow us to perhaps use WarDrums....
We're definatley going to have to wait, perhaps until nearly the last minute, to pin this event down....
