Maxminis Draft
Format:
Sealed/Draft: everyone brings 2 boosters from a set that is 200 points (Archfiends, GoL, DK, Angelfire, Underdark, or Wardrums)
Prize:
Everyone brings something to add to the prize pool. This could be boosters, books, repaints, sets of commons, custome paint jobs, etc.

Registation:
We will need to register the event and there will be a $6 charge. This charge is for the organizing company not for anyone on helping to make this event happen.

| Well, we have the dates for WF: February 23-26.
What we don't know is When the MaxMinis event will be held. Until we know the schedule of events at Wf, there isn't much point. We tried last year to do that for GenCon, basing our schedule on what WotC did the previous year. We scheduled the MaxMini's event for Sunday. Turns out Sunday became the limited qualifier and the final 8 for Constructed Championship....

| Alright this'll be interesting, I want to get some RPG in too, but theres alot of stuff I want to play.
Ill do the vintage on friday and the prerelease on saturday for sure. I'll do league as well probably just to have something to do during downtime. I wouldnt mind epic on sunday, but that depends on when my flight back is.
Vintage starts at 8AM.
I will might do the 200 constructed on thursday again depending when I get there and what RPG events I find. | |

to bad the 200 pt sealed will likely overlap with the vintage event, but if I'm doing poorly in vintage I'll jump into that. I LIKE sealed play...
Hmmm.. Looks like League play otherwise.
No tournies running late, that means that we could do the MaxMini's event Friday night (Saturday night is the Open Fiesta for Living Greyhawk).

Sigh... Living Greyhawk is great, but you can't jump in to a high level event. That's the only down side.
All characters must start at First level. Yep, you can start at First level AT Winter Fantasy. The scale teh adventures, you get teamed up with other charaters of level 1-4 so that the Average Party Level (APL) is 2 or so.
Hmmm... Looks like we can't register yet.

| | Somebody needs to wake up and put some separation between the sealed events on Friday. Plus it looks like it will be tiles and 12 figures for all events except the pre-release, but there is no absolute hint either way. And of course the mystery of what support the league will get (daily prizes or not). Oh and what would be the point of having a constructed tournament at the same time as the pre-release? | |
