Also, I want to say that the guy that was at Hastur Hobbies that asked me to teach him more about the game has gotten his brother interested, and both have begun collecting DDM. They are coming over to my house tonight (Wednesday) so I can teach them more about skirmishing. I will let them know about the Black Rose and ask them if either or both of them can make it tomorrow. | |

| 5 players showed. 2 new ones that have really gotten into the game. They have created a nice collection over the last 13 days.
I hope that not all Thursdays will be DCI events as it sure does creat a long night. we played 2 rounds at 50 min each and we did not finish the last round until 9:10 or so.
1 or 2 DCI events per month should be enough, right? | |

| I was going to try and make it tonight. Time-sensitive problem came up (can't wait until tomorrow). Our pool cover didn't survive the winter and once it's drained I've got to hop in and clean up whatever goop is in the bottom so we can fill it back up (time-sensitive since sunlight and birds tend to destroy pool liners [:(]).

| If people are willing to buy one less case than they were planning of WODQ then I have a couple ideas. First I think it would be a lot of fun to have a mid year Draft Utah Open. That way we can have three Utah opens a year - One constructed at the beginnig and one constructed at the end (Utah Close) and one limited in the middle (Utah Climax). I'm sure a lot of us are planning on buying a decent amount of WoDQ boosters so if we can wait till July we could do a draft with that.
The other idea is to have a 3-D limited (non-sanctioned) tournament at Talistran's (Kent) house. He said he can give us a good deal on the booster prices and he has 3-D terrain so we could have a special format tournament or something. He wants to do this so he can learn how to play the game and it gives us a cheap way to have a fun special format tournament.
Feel free to expand on these ideas and say wether or not you'd be able and interested in doing either or both of these. | |

My though was more like having the Draft near the end of the year with the last set of the year (or mixture) and with this next epic set we would have the Utah Open Epic event. No plans are set yet as I was hoping people will show tonight and on Saturday so we can decide on when, what, and were. | |

| I beat Drakkengi last night and I must gloat about it. He had some not very nice dice rolls and I rolld 3 20's on his orcs.
I hope it was some good practice for him to get ready for CO qualifier so he can kick some butt and make up for the showing UT had at our event.
