| Just posting a new thread for people to insert their lodgings/schedules to make it easier for other MM folks to connect with them, and also to get a better idea of when they will want to show up.
I'm arriving Wednesday night, and will be staying at the Sheraton Crystal City for the duration of the event. I might have to work on Thursday, but otherwise I intend to show up for and participate in the first events of the show at 1pm based on how many people are there ready to play. At 1pm, that will include the League Play and 200 point constructed. At 6pm, I might go in for the 3-dragon ante tournament (I love that game). Friday morning I am in for vintage, and I planned on taking Friday night out for other activites. Saturday is War Drums followed by the MaxMinis tournament, and Sunday I'm going to hang out with friends before catching an evening flight back to Chicago. | |

| I live on 15th St. south (near the Pentagon City metro station), so I'll be stopping by each day if I can. I'll metro back home if I need to post reports and/or pictures online (I'll bring my digital camera).
Saturday, I'm in for the pre-release and the Maxminis draft (prolly come home for lunch and a nap in between!). | |

| Im staying with friends who live 2 metro stops away with my wife and will be driving down wednesday after work.
Thursday - open til.. um.. probably not that late. unless Im in the running for league osmething.. Im scheduled for the constructed event
Friday - 8a Vintage baby! yeah! until um.. again. probably not that late. maybe.. i dont know.. 8 or so
Saturday - WD prerelease so.. 8a until.. um. midnite? later?
Sunday - since this is technically a vacation with the wife Im probably gonna skip on sunday. we will see. maybe bring her to the event and do beginners D&D or something together. | |

| | If I recall correctly, there are only a few restaurants within decent walking distance -- but there are several at the Pentagon City area, one metro stop away from Crystal City. | |

| My son and I are staying at the Convention hotel.
Arrive Wednesday night around 9ish. Perhaps I'll see some of you there.
Thursday: Up early to enter league at 8am (but chatting with fellow players is even more of a prioirity than League). I'm in the Constructed Thurs. afternoon.
Friday: Vintage in the morning, UD sealed in the afternoon unless I'm fortunate enough to still be in the running for Vintage.
Saturday: WD Prerelease in the morning, 200pt COnstructed in the afternoon unless I'm doing well at the morning event. Then MaxMini's sealed.
Sunday: probably UD sealed in the morning. Leave around 3ish, or whenever we get kicked out.
I'll be doing league and chatting during any down time and evenings. I look forward to meeting some familiar faces and a lot of new ones.

Will do. Although I can normally sleep very late, I didn't spend this much money to sleep! I'll be downstairs around 8am, and even if they don't have league open yet, I'll be ready to chat minis with all comers.

| As for bars in the hotel. Last year there was your typical lobby bar and they had a 'club' up revolving up top. Unfortunately they play music to loud to talk easily and had a cover charge for Friday and Saturday night. But Thursday night was fine to walk the world go round. The lobby bar was semi crowded (RPGAers like to drink) but given the fact that DDM will end each night before the last roleplaying event there should be spots open.
As for my plans I will be in Wednesday to play LG all day across the street and then wake up sometime early Thursday looking to play DDM. | |

I've never done this myself, but you might consider one of the long term lots at Washington Reagan. Its only a short trip from Crystal City by cab and maybe 30 seconds by metro rail, and parking can be as low as $9/24 hours.

| Well tonight we were practicing for the 200 and 500 point constructed events... wierd builds!
So I will arrive early Friday morning 7am - 7:30 something like that. (check in @ Marriott across from center sometime during the day) Driving up from Richmond, VA - I will have George Estill with me as well as a new player Josh (who has caught on very quick)
Hope to still get a seat for Vintage? If not, sit back and watch it all unfold.
Fri. Vintage??? 1pm play Sealed 200pt - Party with my MM friends at night.
Sat. FULL DAY!
Early = wardrums - Middle 200 const. - Late MM Draft - BED or drinks?
Sun. Epic - then drive home!
Prob skip league - but will have digital camera - so smile or give me the finger... either way you will prob be on the web later. | |

| I'll be arriving Thursday morning. I am playing in the 200pt constructed at 1pm but if league is open earlier then I'll join that as a warm-up. I'll be driving back out of the city Thursday night to stay at a motel or at my Father-in-laws if I can't find a cheap motel. Then drive back in the morning and connect with Arnminster to stay across the street at the Merriot the rest of the weekend.
Here is my schedule of events:
Thurs 1-6 200pt constructed
6-11 League
Fri 8-1 Vintage
1-6 200pt Sealed
6-11 Three Dragon Ante Tournament
Sat 8-1 War Drums Prerelease
1-6 200pt constructed
7:30+ Maxminis
Sun 8-1 Epic
If any of my events overlap and I can't play in a tournament then I will probably play some League games or watch other DDM matches. This will be 4 full days of DDM for me - as much as I can fit in and still leave room for sleep. | |

| I think Benimoto, his girlfriend, and myself are moseying into town wednesday night and crashing at a friends place. I never got around to registering for anything for Thursday, so probably either league it, or see if I can get some RPGA lovin in.
Friday and Saturday morning/early afternoon are Wardrums and Vintage. Friday evening going to see my friend perform at some show his law school puts on. Saturday evening, either rpga or more league :-p
Sunday, I'm signed up for the 500 point constructed, figured it would have more play than it seems to.
Always up for drinking and the like as well in the evenings, provided I can con Benimoto into driving us back to our friends.
Also, for the first time in over a year, I've actually gone through my collection and culled out duplicate/tradeable rares, so I'm probably brining a pile of about 100 or so spanning all the various sets that might be looking for new homes.

| | The only things certain on my agenda are Vintage on Friday morning, WarDrums on Saturday morning and Maxminis on Saturday evening. I'm not sure if I'll play sealed 200 on Friday after Vintage or league. In between WarDrums and Maxminis on Saturday, I'm not sure if I'll try to squeeze in the 200 constructed or play league. I may also choose to meet and greet in between my certain events as there are a lot of Maxminis folks I want to see again (met at GenCon) and many I want to meet for the first time. | |
