| Can we compile a list of gaming stores in Jersey/NYC area that:
-sell DDMs
-sell singles of DDMs
I am most interested in stores that sell singles. I don't know about you all, but sometimes it is nice to see them spread out, look at the pieces and "shop".
I can start by including:
- The Dragon's Den (upstate, Poughkeepsie, NY)
- The Stand (Brooklyn)

| This store does not sell DDM singles but it is the only one around here that sells boosters in fair stock:

Does not sell any other D&D products nor SWM or AAM as it is primarily a comic book shop (does sell heroclix and CCGs). It does run MTG tourneys tho (asked/begged for them to run some DDM events and no go [:(] guess it is up to the local delegate, if any).
Store has been there forever but the site is being renovated
I am looking forward to any additions to this thread, hopefully there will be some pleasent and near-by locales for me [:D]

| At one time (Winter Fantasy 04) Neutral Ground was selling DDM singles (and boosters), not sure if they still are, but they host a bunch of DDM prerelease events and such...
Striderlotr on the boards here is a WotC Delegate, I'll ping him to chime in.

| Long time dmumper, glad to see you on the boards.
New Paltz - October Country: They sell boosters and starters adn I've run a demo for them. They really don't have the space for events and don't do singles. This is mostly a comic shop, but they have CCGs, and RPGs.
Middletown - Main Street Comics: They have a great selection of minis boosters, but they do not do singles. Small store that does not run events, mostly a comic store. | |

| I have found that finding singles in stores in the New York/Long Island area is nearly impossible.
I have not been to the Neutral Ground since we only had 3 players show up for the Limited Qualifier last fall. At that time they still had a few common singles for sale, but none newer than the Giants of Legends set. One of the employees there told me they were not going to be selling singlers anymore once those were gone. I have not been back to see if that was true. They did have lots of boosters.
I have been to a number of game and comic stores on Long Island and some of them carry the boosters, usually only the last few sets, and none of them had singles. Even the store that holds the monthly DDM tournaments where I play, Marks Comics in Valley Stream, only carries the boosters and often only has the latest set in stock.
I find ebay, and trading with some of the other players in the area, are the only options for single figures. | |

We are indeed very 'isolated' in this part of New York. | |

Well you need to make the long trip up to Poughkeepsie for some singles. The Dragons Den has a huge selection of DDM, and a small collection of SWM and AAM singles for sales. As for boosters DDM goes back to Abberations, SWM goes back to Revenge of the Sith, and AAM they have all 3 sets.
They have C/U/R singles from Harbinger forward. | |
