| I'm looking for players in Albuquerque, NM. I just moved here and discovered there's really no established DDM scene. I got a league going in Dayton, OH. Now I'd like to start one in Albuquerque. Please e-mail me if you're interested. Once I have 4-6 interested players, I'll plan a friendly "tournament". It won't be DCI sanctioned, and there won't be a tournament fee or prizes. (I can't really sanction an event until I find a place to live and get my stuff out of storage--all my tournament organizer materials are in storage, even though my minis aren't.) The idea is just to do a "meet and greet" to establish a core of players. If there's enough interest, I'll start doing DCI tournaments.
There are a few places in town that are WotC Premier stores. None of them currently order Retailer Kits, as far as I can tell, but I think I can talk them into it if I show them there's a strong interest from regular DDM players. The best place in town as far as play space looks to be Active Imagination, but the best price in town on DDM seems to be Tall Tale Cards & Comics. The latter store seems easy to deal with, is willing to clear table space for a scheduled event, and is also conveniently the closest store for me to get to [)]. Anyway, help me get something going. | |

there is one player I know of from that area... Marco Terrazas. He was at the Championship that year. He would be a good contact for the DDM scene there. Here's a link to his member profile...
