| That's a quality origin there Fancy Driver. So here's your quality reward, a lucky deck of Three Dragon Ante cards. Once per day you can call upon the luck of the cards to add +1 to any d20 roll. And as a further bonus that +1 can be applied after the die is rolled, in effect allowing you once per day to avoid missing by one.
Enjoy. | | | |

I'd post the info here but that page is 28 page scrolls of my mouse....
Anyone else having a problem with that link?

| MJ - Thanx for the awesome deck of cards. Now I'll just miss by two!
I put your mini in the book, along with some for myself, and Smythe was in today and ordered some as well.
I just updated the backstory for FR calender years and dates, and added an encounter wih devil rays from 1369 as well (a nice tie in I think). If that is enough to earn 4 additional skill points, I'll put them in as: Survival - 2 (for time spent growing up in the woods and hunting for Lord Wilde) and Profession Sailor - 2 (for time spent on the Sea Ghost).
I still need to decide between that Dalelands Militia feat and Dash. Dash might not fit with my gimp leg, unless I became a runner to overcompensate for it. I have 2 weapon fighting so far, any other ideas? Dodge maybe? | | "GameKnight Games and Cool Stuff Winnipeg's source for RPGs and minis!" www.gameknight.ca

| Tell me the special ability now please. I don't care if everyone knows it.
I'm working on the mini and the sheets.
Mine and beer baron's back stories sort of fit together, if the gang was the same one.

P.S. I would like some info on the FR, but I don't think I'll change the background. | | I'm not afraid of competition, it's mind over matter. I don't mind, and you don't matter

Hey, I assign the bonus skill points here. Lets see.... 1 point for profesion (woodcutter), 1 point for profession (sailor), 1 point for knowledge (geography), and 1 rank of survival.

| yeah, uh... I meant that those are what I would put them in, if the choice was mine. But what you decide is good. I'll update my character sheet.

P.S. I would like some info on the FR, but I don't think I'll change the background. It's up to you and Scott if you want to synch up your backstories. Not a bad idea though.
The wooden holy symbol allows you to once per tenday summon the ghostly spirit of your tragically dead father for up to one hour to seek the sagely advice of Dingle the Gnome on whatever problem currently plagues you.
As for Forgotten Realms information is there any particular area's you're interested in? I'll see what I can dig up.

| Dingle the Knome...sounds like an episode of the Dresden Files from Space. I guess I better buy or order a Paladin figure/mini. Any suggestions guys? Does Scott have any in the store on the shelf...probably have to order. I will look for that reaper site again. | | Pounce goes the cat!!! Felix the Flounder strikes! | Hey DM do you remember the scores i had? i am pretty sure they were 10, 14, 12, 16, 9, 16. i seem to have lost the file i saved them in. it sucks but sometimes it happens. also are we getting together tonight? if it is all the same i would prefer not to as i have some work to do around the apartment. and no it's not just playing wow. i have to do some laundry so i have clean clothes to wear to what may be my last weekend working for the baron if he ever gets around to finding someone else.
i have definitely decided on the sun elf wizard. just need to pick a feat now, and do the skill points. also i have decided to specialize in evocation. i am giving up illusion and necromancy. i will get to you with a bg as soon as i can. maybe i will type one up on saturday while the rest of you are enjoying your time at the prerelease and i am stuck upstairs working. | | Knight of Ni Jay(Clerks 2) - would you "bleep" me?...i would "bleep" me...i would "bleep" me hard

| Those sound about right. Unfortunatly I don't have the scores either. You may either run with those or take your chances with me assigning you a new batch.
As for tonight I don't think we're getting together. Rob's sick, Nico and Chris Love are out as far as I know.
Still, everyone is welcome to come down. If we have 3 or 4 player's I might run a quick intro session. I brought my MSH rules as well.

| | One of my suppliers just sent me an email looking for a reaper order. If there is anything else you may be looking for, now is a good time to order them. I have until Monday the 5th to get my answers in. | Hello,
I was not planning on coming out tonight because of no game. I have been really busy and have not finished up my character yet. I was planning to spend a little free time tonight fleshing things out and posting the results here.
I will see everyone on the 14th, however.
Cheers

| Cutter Blackleaf a brief History:Â
Born in the Year of Bright Dreams (1261DR), Bregven "Cutter" Blackleaf lived a fairly simple life with his parents. His youth was spent learning the ways of the forest, hunting with his father and living in harmony with nature. His father was an expert bowyer and trained his only son in the making and use of the bow for hunting and war. "The Forests of Cormanthor are a dangerous place" his father would often say.
In the Year of the Harp (1355DR) Bregven's family decided to leave the forests of Cormanthor as many other elven families were doing. As they traveled through the forest towards the Moonsea they were attacked by Zhent forces and Bregven's father was killed. That day Bregven earned the nickname Cutter when he took up his father's falchion and cut down 4 Zhentish soldiers.Â
Cutter's mother left the forests of Cormanthor a few years later with a group of elven refugees but Cutter chose to stay behind and defend the dales against the Zhents. He has been living in and around Shadowdale ever since.  Lately Cutter has been feeling a bit of wanderlust and having spent many nights listening to the stroies of adventurers in the taverns of Shadowdale has been thinking of joining a group. | | Champion of Champions (for all races! even Gnomes ) Reference Thread Winnipeg Gryphon Cavalry Forums

For bonus skill points take 2 ranks of Craft (Bowyer/Fletcher) and 2 ranks of Survival. I'll have to think on the bonus item a bit.

| Looks like there is a Dreamblade tournament this Wednesday since Star Wars is on Friday.
Seems to me it's time for another DM incentive bonus.... so here goes. A free starting Potion of Cure Light Wounds to each player who shows up to play in the minis tournament I'm running this Saturday. Your first chance to play constructed with the new Unhallowed minis.
How can you say no to that.
