| Well, I recently took the DCI test to become a tournament organizer without knowing that in order to keep my status, I'd have to organize six tournaments within 90 days.
Well, now I've got an excuse to start some. I've got two cases of AtG headed my way in the next two or three weeks, and I find sealed tournaments to almost always be a good time. I'm thinking... People in San Diego could come out of the woodwork and use my boosters to enjoy a free, friendly tournament (giving my minis back at the end, of course; I paid for the things). That would give me six spots to put people in, and other interested parties could bring their own boosters to join in the fun.
Now all that remains is to get some people to say they'd like to come (I've already got at least one friend raring to go, but the other five spots are free), decide on a store, and get the store to let us use their space.
So, would anyone be interested? Also, any suggestions of which store to go to would be welcome. | |
