| In reply to your character play the one you want Will. Just keep this in mind, what does he bring to the table for a group that's skill set is already pretty full.
Boda handles the weapon building. Nash is the man with droids and computers, and you can't touch Scotchy and his ever present booze dispensing astromech droid Rusty when it comes to ships mechanics. Plus Dak is a skilled transport repairman himself when he isn't grounded.
Why does the A-Team need you? What do you bring to the table?
As for what it says in the books about military hardware it doesn't matter, what counts is what I say. Don't be a rules lawyer. | | | |

| lol does scotchy have a +21 Repair? for a level 4? and it is my Pure technicall Skill, i mean sure they do have thoses skills but how bout a Specialist for those skills, i mean as well they can handle the combat aspect, or its hey, u cant have more then enough hackers / engineers/ technicial people, I could do many things for the A-Team  
And understood boss, i didnt mean to offend or overrule you sir! I just thought that it wasnt known but i guess that was a poor premature guess. my characters stats will be posted momentarily
And well then another thing, is could i some how replace scotchy as well i was suggested to take over for him, well could he randomly dissapear and i take his place or could the a-team have use of a Portable Chief Engineer to be? i mean common i can almost fix / install anything and everything, and my hobby is making droids and blasters u know extra moula and then hey, i learn to master craft, so i make specialized weapons for everyone with bonus damage in that can be useful for when u guys have bad rolls I can think of anything u need me to do, i can hack into buildings for silent entries without the bad thing for not attracting to much attention... i swear i could be useful give me a task and i can make it happen in our favor 
and i also bought an R4 unit which is prevalent and only 2500 credits to help me out with a hell of a lot of +2 bonuses | |

| I ALSO HAVE IT, not only that, Can i be Scotchy's apprentice? remember im shy and timid, and a genious, however as a genious so i could always go with learning new things, Is it possible after i begin to start typing out my Backround, can I be made his apprentice, as it would almost help my character to develop as a Chief Engineer, as if what scotchy said, I would assume someone like him well must Be a Chief engineer or then at least a 15th level tech engineer as hell if he has been fixing everything for aeons then i assume he must be someone of High technicial level. !!! so how about it boss, is that possible? that way i can train, be in the story, send the apprentice engineer on missions leaving scotchy on the ship and he can train me to be a kick ass Chief engineer

| Speaking of time.... Junkyard Jake is very pleased with how things went down in the Rodian's scrapyard. Hearing that Rodian's grizzly fate was a treat for ol' Jake.
Still, he wants to make sure none of this gets back to him. He's asking that you lay low for a couple weeks until all this blows over.
Ol' Jake isn't going to leave you hanging though, it's against the junkyard code. He's managed to set you up with reservations in the automated resort on Callus V. He wants you to cool your heels there until he gives the all clear sign. | | | |

| that shouldn't be a problem since we have alot of work ahead of us to get the ship in decent shape with all the new gear we picked up.
I imagine the next session will be all about doing that work and getting our first Cargo job, nd I guess a quick stop at Correlia to drop off our passenger. | |

| lol YAY go A-TEAM!!! but boss, i was just wondering, is that acceptable then and secondly thank you very much Idzy... I do greatly appreciate it, If you need help with building stuff, lol again i love how i will play my character, just ask me for some aid, and hey ill be like... uhh ohh ok ill try to help you to the best i can... i hope that is ok then i assume that if Again i can train under the master engineer scotchy and have the rest of u guys, u can build in my confidence and who knows maybe if the character path sets me that way perhaps ill be deligated to get in and out of places quietly although i donno how u make a tech specialist stealthy :S either way, Just ask and I will produce.
Lastly boss, i gotta work tonight, so if u can give me a few days and i can work on Bill's Back story for you i promise you this will be a great character, and hopefully an excellent added benifit to the team

| What do you mean there is no point in keeping him around, aww please dont remove him, it would go perfect with my characters persona, you can even find me on the Moon A as im still looking for someone who will take me for apprenticeship training, AT LEAST keep him around for a bit to train me a little and besides i couldnt stand playing him but everyone else likes him and hell i may not "like him" but my character would find it interesting to meet him to say the least.

Make sure to include in your background a reason for being at an automated pleasure resort that nobles and the like tend to frequent. | | | |

| Thats the thing though, My character is only 19 years old and to complete his advanced engineering schooling, he needs to have been an apprentise, and yas basically put as Scott said, My character is based on the book, lol one thing eventually he would point out to scotchy would be "umm sir... why are you drinking around the equipment, i was told that it was a safety hazard and wasnt good if you got some alchahol on the equipment? " and stuff like that, and as well we have many systems to repair, for one person to do is not as good, think of star trek and even star wars, There is a reason there are engineering teams, as well we have a modestly sized ship. And not ALL his skills are +21 only, possibly as a Character Flaw as my friend a good GM says well he has an unusually high Repair skill check for his level, posibly make a draw back as simple as no Taking 10's or something of the like just as a thought, in any case I still want to point out that he is almost like a droid, (hence also why he creates his friends) as he has no personal relations. My backround will explain about that, but still, we have the hyperdrive to fix and install, a new shield generator, new weapon mounts, thats a lot of work for 1 engineer. Also if i have so many hours working with a master engineer, it possibly could be an added prerequisits to have so many apprentiship hours working with a Master Engineer to become a Chief, Again just some suggestions mike as i know it just creates more work for you :S

The Biography of William Malinstar
William was born on ___________(unknown date system 19 years before our current date) on the Republic capital city of Coruscant. His parents who were both administrator Technicians for the Senate, were astonished at his abilites and intelligence for his young age. Anything he could get his hands on he would always pick up and stare it down vigerously to understand what he was holding. Some things ended up in his mouth while other ended up on the other end of the house still he would always see what something would do if he did something to it. Even at the age of 1 he mastered the alphabet and number system up to 50 which his parents were so proud of him for. However with his intelligence and being able to finally walk at the age of 1, he found himself into lots of trouble with both his parents and with other objects around his enviornment. Still he remained ever so curious. Due to his inept mind his parents decided that he would be sent to the Courscant Youth Engineering School when he finally turned 5 years of age. During this time he was mostly timid and shy around the sight of these new people, however with some children, they were bossy and mean to William as he would always take someting and ask the teachers some questions and yet they would always make fun of him for trying to be a teachers pet, although he had no clue what that meant. From his first few years of school William learned to just sit quietly and read lots of books because he didnt want to speak to anyone for fear of being made fun of again and again. As he got older he finally learned to be self sufficient so he didnt have to speak with anyone as he basically had imbeded in his head when he says something, people make fun of him, and sadly he really never had any personal relations with anyone except maybe his parents. Being a lone child as well did not help him at all as his parents were mostly busy so he spent alot of time alone. Even at home as he did at school, reading and learning for himself.
By the Age of 16 he graduated from the Youth Engineering School and transfered into the Advanced Techological School of Science and Engineering. It was here where he had met people that were completely different form his junior years of school. Here people actually treated him with respect and dignity and some people such as James Aragon and Ben Lindinger who eventually became good friends with William, apploded and sometimes asked him for help with their work, althought they were very bright people themsleves and once they were told once, they were able to understand fully after that. Ben however was a little different frm James and William, he was forced to the school and was constantly struggling to keep up with the Professors. During the weekends for the first time in his life, he didnt know what it was like to Hang out with friends untill Ben and James got to him. It was also from them that they nicknamed him Bill because they thought it would be cooler for them and easier then always pronouncing William. As smart as they were, William always thought they were lazy at times.
As a special project on his second year when he turned 17, William had read lots of books on droids during his first year, and as a hobby assignment, he asked if he could actually attempt to build a droid. Initially a little stunned by this request from his Mechanics Professor, he allowed him to attempt to build the droid. Spending all his down time from school and pulling many hours of work in, after about a month he actually mannaged to finish building a R4 Series droid. This droid after its first activation began beeping and squabling but William was confused as to what it was saying, when the area protocol droid came by, it told William that it was requiring a designation, thinking for a minute, William thought what kind of designation, then realized that he would rather give him a name. SPARKY he yelled loudly as it was the first think that came to mind when he thought of his first building of him.
William Treated Sparky with as much respect as he treated his new found friends, however he and the little astromech droid would gain a bigger friendship as they always spent all the time together. Sparky was different from other Droids as he was more independent, some say it was due to the core programming being altered. William himself while in Logic and Programming, would always have his programs reply back to him with "Admiral" instead of Master as most programs were made to. It made him feel uneasy so after much thought, him and his friends, even Sparky helped in this decision, Thought since William had a little of a fascination with the military, that they call him Admiral to make him feel less of a slave driver and more of a Leader of the droids he programs. At the age of 18 he was in his final year of School before graduation, and his marks were astonishing to say the least. However during a field exercise on Alderan both James and Ben were killed in an explosion from a terrorist attack. Devastated by this William couldn't bare to feel any good feelings towards the people who killed the only friends he had. After he had returned, William never spoke to anyone except for Sparky who was actually half "Understanding" of what his Master had been going through from the immediate habits William was displaying but eventually he got over it and he graduated with full honors From the Advanced Technological School of Science and Engineering. He then was asked by his teacher to take a certificate for apprenticeship training to get some actual field experience with senior technicians out on the field so he could then attempt to take his Master engineer degree and then possibly become even a Chief Engineer, however he would have to find someone which would take him in and there was no one on Coruscant that was available at the time so, his parents suggest he try some outback planets in the Republic.
Thinking that some fancy resorts would have some famous engineers, Williams mother had the next transport for him to ( the current moon were on) and had pre-booked a room at ( x hotel we are at) and told him to start his search on that moon. Not truly understanding why some of the greatest engineers would not be on Coruscant he still just thought that his parents wisdom was correct and decided to do as they suggested.

well thank you very much Jay, its just that I felt i should fully explain myself since i so rudly changed my character after getting people hipped up i guess. :S whatever the group thinks well is up to them i guess, but i just wanted to be throurough with my characters position. i feel that the ending was a bit rushed but i ran out of ideas for that | |

LOL yes of course as well Hunter guess what, i have figured it out, although it will cost me XP by level 8 as that is when i can take mastercraft level +1 however the way my repair skill is, and the extra +4 bonus, 2 for competence for having 5 repair ranks and 2 for mastercrafting an item and being a tech specilist, I basically sit at a +25 repair check for making a mastercrafted blaster, which if i either take 10 or roll a 20 will take a day
thats it. its quite awsome, however crafting the droids my character may want to make will take about a week.
Scott: As well i do aggree with you there, however remember he is stranded on the second moon, although i gather being corupted he is not stupid, it is also possible that he yet may be useful or reacouring for all we know, i mean he may have 5 dark side points but he isnt even tainted according to the rules i couldnt just play him SO maybe he could be useful if a little coin croses him, whatever mike decides of course
