| Hey there all you rpg-ers in winnipeg that know me. I thought I would post this forum to see what kind of response I can get for a campaign that will be starting on halloween. I will be dm-ing it on tuesday nights starting at about 6:00 and going until usually around 10:00. That is a solid 4 hours of game time once a week. There is a limited number of spots available at the table, a few of which are already spoken for by the group I am currently playing rpgs with on tuesday.
Just post here if you are interested in getting in on the game. Once you have posted here there will be an email to follow from me with a little more information on the campaign. I await your replies.

| Clearly it is the Tri-Chris, just like in legend of zelda a link to the past with the tri force.
Anyway on to more important stuff. The game will run every Tuesday night unless for some reason that night is on a holiday or the majority of the players can not make it. I will always be able to make it as i am running the store at the same time. Thankfully the store has still been pretty dead on tuesday nights(thankfully for games sake not scotts) if it stays that way it will make my dm-ing just that much easier.
The game I have finally decided will be eberron, with one beautiful exception, monsters that have always been evil will still be considered to be evil unless it is made very obvious by the way they are dressed or the way they act when you approach states otherwise.
If you want to know about character generation that is even more fun. You get 81 points to spend on your abilities buying them at a 1 for 1 cost. The abilities start at 0 and you have to get them to where you like them. As for races and classes everything is up for discussion. If you can come up with a good back story then it is more likely that you will be able to play it instead of wanting to play it for the numbers. ALL alignments MUST BE within 1 step of NG, which means LG, CG, and TN, along with NG. This will help to ensure that there are no evil characters trying to undermind the party. I have not yet decided on a table limit of players, but i am leaning towards 6. Any more than that and it is too big to control.

Talking to one of the potential players this evening brought up a good point. I don't mind if your character(in other words you) have to miss the odd day here or there, in fact i could see fit to allow you to miss one week of the month. Really anymore then that and you would be missing out too much and losing out on the fun of the group. | |

| Hey there,
Not trying to ignore the thread, simply busy at present with lots of stuff.
Eberron sounds interesting to me, however I do have make an announcement. Due to a contract I have at the moment I have jsut found out that Tuesday evenings until Christmas are now busy. If the campaign is up and running I will join in January (if you let me).
On the other hand, maybe in January I will start my own campaign if you are full.

And for chris who won't be able to make it until January, Nico has to leave in January do to the fact that he's a teacher and sucks just a little bit. So there will definitely be a spot open for you at the table.

| | Alright so now we have another change to make to the schedule. Things have changed and there seems to be a better night to play on, this would be wednesdays. This would mean the end of star wars for some, and the beginning of dnd for others. Also the boss man would have a chance to play. | Personally I would rather keep it on Tuesday and let us have some wicked Cashgrab on Wednesdays. That being said if Wednesday is the day that works for everyone then Wednesday it is. Its not like getting nights off is very hard for me anyway.
p.s. Since my job is wicked boring and I was thinking about D&D pretty much all day I am so totally going to rock the Bard, and if Bach wants to stick it in Eberron then I worked out an awesome backstory for that too. | |

| No the first day will be the 8th of november. Just in case scott is going to play. If he isn't going to play then we can get together on the 1st to do a little character work. There are a couple of things that i would like to clear up.
1st- i am capping the group at 6 players plus me. (which if scott confirms with me we will be at)
2nd - when working out your stats with the 81 points, i require that you have 1 stat that has a negative modifier. also the highest you can go before racial modifiers is still 18.
3rd - Classes right now as i know them are: wizard, cleric, bard, barbarian, rogue, and (tbd)
4th - we will be starting in or at least near waterdeep, so you can plan your feats accordingly
5th - the most important of all, this is going to be fun. so make sure your character is something that you can have fun with. make a back story for them that is easy for you to play up. | |

| One other thing.
I am flexible with character options. If Scott wants to play a cleric I can switch out to Ranger or Fighter, as we do seem to be a bit lacking in the muscle.

| I'd love to see your take on a cleric.
A second melee fighter would be good as my character, Zowie the Wizard
and her ocho strength will be staying as far away from melee combat as
possible until I hit that sweet sweet dual wand wielder feat.
On
the other hand Nico's barbarian has muscle to spare with his 20 Str and
Con. At first level his normal attack with his greatclub is +7 to hit
for 1d10+7 damage, of course when he's raging it kicks up to +8 for
1d10+12.
There's at least 2 copies of the campaign setting in
the group so we should be covered there. Just a friendly suggestion but
you can't go wrong with a human cleric of Lathander, Sun and Renewal
domains, Augment Healing and Disciple of the Sun feats. | | | |
