| Re-read the new rulebook, no time like the present to start learning the new rules so yes both my Demos tomorrow night at Game Knight (6PM-10PM) and the Gamers Lair Outpost on Saturday (5 PM-9PM) will feature the 2.0 rules, warbands, and much learning of new stuff.

| 8 people out for minis tonight. Garret, Ryan, Scott, Bram, Norm, Richard, Nico, and myself.
I ended up going 3-0 thanks to key save rolls, opportune criticals, successful attacks of opportunities, and the fact that Matt left and did not return.

| I didn't realize Ryan had Wulfgar in his band. I played him last night too. He did say to me something like "I bet you're glad I gave him up.", which at the time didn't register with me that he had selected him. Let me know if I need to remove him.

| It was a good demo last night. The rules will take some getting use to as several things are different but in general all the changes seem to be being recieved positively.
I look forward to running some more and seeing what more complex warbands can do.

| Schedules for Feb/March are up on www.gameknight.ca. I scrutinized it pretty well, but as always see if you can find mistakes. Paper copies now available in store as well.
4 for SWM today, Steve (winner), Andy, Joesph and Lisa.
2 for the 1000 point game, Kerry and Kristoff. It's nice to see it brings out some of the casual players, but dissappointing not to see the regulars.

| It was a good demo at the Gamer's Lair, a bit slow toward the end.
More of a Magic crowd there so it was a different take showing them the new rules as opposed to showing the more vetran players how the rules had changed. | | | |

Schedule mistake found by me for a change. I updated February to show a 500 point game on the 16th as my cut and paste woes continue....
This week:
500 points on Thursday. Maybe I'll whip up the Epic band I should be allowed to play in league.
Casual play on Fridays.
Starship battles on Saturday at 10 am. Followed by league #4. Storm will be Wulfgar free this time.
....anybody have any good ideas for a replacement? | |

The lateral moves would probably be the Wemic Barbarian or Frenzied Berzerker. I'd probably go with the Wemic, better blocker for your casters with the large base.

Joeseph was looking at the schedule and mentioned that we were talking about doing a "Battle of Hoth" Grand Battle Scenario. How about February 16th, it's 100 points, not the most popular of formats, and there is still snow on the ground if we want to make it really authentic (just kidding). Any thoughts about that? Do you work that day? Is there a better day? | |

| The 16th might not be the best depending on how long it would take. I wouldn't want it pushing in to League in the afternoon.
As long as it's done by 1 PM it should be okay, depending even on who plays in both events. | | | |
