| Happy Monday, ...er,,,Tuesday (feels like Monday).
On Saturday the Gargantuan Black Dragon went 3-1 for me, 5-1 overall (my hastily constructed band couldn't beat it). Stonefro got the one win. He was using AoB, Elminster, Crow Shaman, Nebin, and fodder. He buffed up Bahamut, and got lucky with 3 crits. So it can be done. But it ain't easy.
This Wednesday is Open Gaming, and I've suggested Settlers of Catan.
This Thursday is a 200 point sealed box game, using 1 box of WotDQ (price reduced Blackguard booster pack), and 1 box of Underdark. I am going to have to limit attendance at this one to 12 people ,as that is all the boosters I have to run it fairly. Cost $29.99+taxes ($33.88). I am knocking $4 off the Blackguard box for this tournament. If you want to pre-register, then email me grapeguy@mts.net or post it here.
Saturday is Heroclix at 10 am, plus D&D minis at Noon. The theme is Faction Focus Lawful Evil (200 points constructed assault Lawful Evil bands only). Beauty is in the Eye of the Beholder, isn't it? | |

| As it stands now every thursday game in September and October will be a scanctioned tournament.
The 1st Thursdays of the month will now be 200 point constructed events run by Scott.
The 2nd Thursday will either now be a limited event or a 100 point constructed tournament. I believe in September Rob is scheduled to run a sealed tournament which will also be a Wizard's demo with extra prize support. I think it'll be the nightmare WotDQ and an Angelfire booster assuming nothing changes from last night.
Week 3 is Epic and the 4th and following weeks will be 200 point constructed events. | | | |

| Nice recap Mike. In leiu of cancelling our tourney last night we did hash out a schedule. It will take me a while to get it posted to the web and print off in store sheets.
Some things to note:
Star Wars Minis every second Saturday at 10 am, alternating with Heroclix.
Axis & Allies will be every Wednesday (except beer club nights)
Dreamblade will be once a month
Some Saturday tournaments will also be sanctioned, and I will eventually be moving Saturday Tourneys back to 12:30 or 1:00 pm (you can then play Star Wars, and then D&D minis)
World Wide D&D day is coming Nov 4th. | |

| In other minis news don't forget next Saturday (August 19th) I'll be running a sanctioned 200 point constructed tournament at Game Knight. Start time will be at 12 noon and we'll do 3 rounds.
I hope to see everyone out, heck bring a friend and get them hooked too. Bonus victory points for anyone who kidnaps random strangers from the street and forces them to play.....
In other Saturday minis new I'll be running 3 other sanctioned tournaments in September and October. September 2nd is 100 points, September 16th is 500 points and another 200 point event on October 21st. | | | |

So, back from work early (I love swim exams that run quickly). I was sorting my minis stuff and discovered that all of my maps, templates and rules are missing. Has anyone seen them at Gameknight or picked them up by accident? Everything would be bundled together in a big ziplock freezer bag. The maps are folded, not rolled.
Any sightings would be greatly appreciated. I really don't want to have to buy all new maps.
