| lol and if Jay wants to add in me ;) hint hint, lol jk a sneaky Assassin :P Now i would like to ask some opinionation Stealth or Extra Damage, really cause initailly I wanted to be a Scout style assassin with high focus on stealth, to be the information gatherer of any group, but if memory serves Assassigns are more Critical Damage, ( so i will love Triple crit lawl) so you can do the hole one kit KO thing, or ya.... well like i said i would like to get into some SWRPG action as well. | | Well, I would like to think my new profession is pretty simple... | With a 5 player group we need to think about covering the skill bases.
Not every base needs to be covered but some of the things a good team needs to look at could include:
- A pilot - A gunner - An astrogation expert - A ship repair tech - A weapons specialist - Streewise skills - Stealth - Diplomacy - A linguist - Muscle - A droid repair tech - A slicer - A demolitions expert - A medic
Probably more that aren't leaping to mind at the moment.
If we each have a couple areas we're good at then things should shape up for a good group.
If you still wanted to be a green guy there Garret you could go Duros pilot instead of a droid.

| Well I guess this thread is up and running again - cool.
I think I am also gonna need a brand new Star Wars RPG book Scott. Please order another one. Haven't seen Jay talking on here yet?
I think 2 Wookie's in the group can make sense if we are both slaves or uncollected bounties Mike. But maybe I should consider something else. Welcome - Suzanne - did I get it right? Can I keep my arms??? | | Stop monkeying around - thats my job!!!

| Hey all, sorry i haven't posted sooner, but I've been very busy lately (12 hour shifts.) so just a couple things...
abilty scores, i think we should go with point buy using 32 points.
for skills, with the five of you the majorty of skill can be covered it may just take some coordination.
So whats every one doing on Friday the 9th of November? my vacation plans were delayed and i won't be leaving till the tenth, so this may be a good time to do a meet and greet, swap strories make up charcthers, go over the house rules and so on. so what do ya'll think? | | "Well maybe Mr. T hacked the game and created a Mohawk class! lol well thank goodness that I have my rulebook. The only thing is that it just wont feel the same as gaming with everyone else again... and fridays i have off to lawl. | Checked with Suzanne and the 9th is a go for us. I'm thinking about playing a noble with force sensitivity. | Not a bad option there at all Rob. If Suzanne sticks with a scout and Garret does soldier that's a good basis to work with.
I'm still good to go with the scoundrel which can free Nico up to be another soldier or something.

| I actually like that idea Mike - I still kinda want to be able to fix things though - unless someone else is into repairs. Although maybe demolitions would go with solider better ... Mhhhmmm???
think the 9th is also doable for me as well. So count me in at the moment.
Scott, since I owe you for the ship, case, mini and such with payday being far away I can wait to get a copy of the new Star Wars RPG book for a bit anyway. You could even consider giving me one for X-mas!!! Didn't think so! | | Stop monkeying around - thats my job!!!

| The Saga system is fairly flexible in what it allows you to do with characters. You can take the gun club ability and beat people over the head with your bowcaster. | | | |
