| Well as long as you can manage to keep Tharnog alive he's going to be a pretty nasty fighter. Grath can get up there too with a little seasoning.

| Im debating those bard levels now. Bard would be great early on but now I think we got the clases some what covered. I might take later on when I wanna be able to play my Jug, for now I'm having fun annoying the barbarian.  | |

| Tales from the Chronicler Nov. 28 Night 10
Dragon's Squall Before the Storm  Part 1
The day after WormBeards Spirit rests is a clear sailing day - 10 days to
Westgate. We get 2 days of beautifull clear calm sailing without
a magical mist in sight! The crew counts their 10% coin cut from the
Crimson's Pirates Booty. I speak to soon of good fortune and luck as
the Sea is now at unrest in the 3rd day of our Voyage as the Wind
picks up in strong - alarming gale. Captain Salty Pete gazes into the
Horizon ... as the dark Omen of a suddenly blackening Sky appears. He
orders a lashing down of sail and rigging .... batten down the hatches.
The crew of The Blue Hippocampus sets about following the Capt.
orders and Salty Pete turns to consult his charts as he mutters to the
Rogue and the Dwarf - Big Waves ahead. Might we have a Squall???
Consulting the charts Salty Pete finds a chain of Islands to the South.
He informs Beregon that the ship might not make the huge waves -
possibly Typhoon Winds or Hurricane - so the Ship will race for safe
harbour of an Island inland Cove. Percy executes the order to turn the
ship around - and we race the coming Squall behind our Stern. We race
the wind ;yet ironically, we need it to make the cove. Skirting to the
farside of the Island (bout 10 city blocks) we make anchor in the calm
cove. Salty Pete orders the crew ashore for he fears the ship may not
weather the coming winds - 4 skeleton crew remain aboard to save the
ship if possible - pray we do for no Typhoon. Migwin is told his carpentary
skills may be needed before the Squall is done. Migwin surveys the land
and finds ... near the beach a 20 FT diameter cave. In the crew goes
uncertain of what we will find besides shelter from the squall.... A circular
sandy beach ... and .... many long, cold and damp tunnels surround our
choosen encampment. A brief search finds 8 tunnels: 5 unflooded and 3
ends in water..do we swim ... Nah. We set up watches and settle down for
the night.
Migwin and Beregon take 1st watch, Cedrith and Grath the 2nd and
Tharnog the early dawn shift. Migwin and Beregon have a quiet watch
and the crew settles well ... until ... the 2nd watch. Grath and Cedrith -
fall asleep??-Â the crew awakens to sounds of a screaming man!!!
2 Crocidiles eat a crew man alive as we stare in horror and rise! Grath
tumbles to sleeping crew to alert them. Cedrith hits a Croc with a
Spiritual Weapon. Beregon the Wizard is bitten mightly on the goround.
Beregon must roll away for his life and wakes Tharnog who stands.
Tharnog charges in on a Croc as Migwin arms himself joins in the fray.
One Croc is hurt greatly but the other is nearly untouched - devouring
a crew man's leg. In charges Capt. Salty Pete as he slashes with his
Black Flamming Cutlass killing the hurt Croc and cleaving into the other.
Beregon tries for a Magic Missle - but misses. We battle on and even
Salty Pete takes a wound - but - the final Croc is dispatched - not soon
enough for our dead companion (A red shirt Mike???)Â Â Salty Pete orders
no more sleep for anyone tonight - weary are we for the morrow!!! 
Migwin scouts and finds the water logged tunnel that the Crocs came
from ... and ...humanoid footprints??? We consider searching the tunnel
for others ...but surely we can just watch for other emerging beasts.
Migwin discover though ... the prints are Repitilian!!! Tharnog and Migwin
volunteer to swim and search for possible keepers of the Crocs. The
prints leave and re-enter the water - many of them too. Both enter hastily
without heed to Beregon's cries for lashings of rope to their waists. The
water is cold and murky as they venture 40 - 50 ft. Tharnog sinks to the
bottom of the tunnel floor as Migwin swims on and casts Dancing Lights
to see what he can see. The Barbarian/Sorccer emerges on the otherside
in a air pocket cavern above the dipping tunnel.ÂThe Reptilian tracks are here
too ... many moving down the far sloped tunnel to more water. It stinks in here!
Where is Tharnog???? Migwin returns to look for his Dwarven companion
with his Dancing Lights to guide his way. Tharnog struggles in a violent
undertow ...he swims ... he swims ... sinks more ... swept more....failed.
Migwin emerges back at camp with no sign of Tharnog??? We are worried
that our companion has gone too long without surfacing for air!!!!
Beregon acts swiftly using his Scroll to Summon a Celestial Porpoise to
rescue our lost Companion. The porpoise emerges from beyond and dives
into the tunnel - back into the water goes Migwin with rope tied to waist.
Migwin swims on with Dancing Lights to guide him and a Porpoise swimming
onward and downward beyond our reach. Migwin searches as far down as
he dares to feel the undertow 70 ft below ... NO DWARF!!! The Porpoise
is gone; but, Migwin returns and delivers sad new of their companion.
If only Tharnog had listened to lash a rope around his waste ( worked in the
other session didn't it Garret???)Â Tharnog the Dwarf ... is NO MORE!!!

| Hello,
So Beregon has made it to 5th level. No more jugging around him by the dwarf.
Fireball and Dispel Magic, here we come.
Whatever we decide for dinner is OK by me, expect Burger King.

Does 8720 XP level 4 for Grath sound right??? I have
missed 2 sessions I think? I thought I would level but I
could have miss estimated. I don't think I forgot to add
the XP for last session as I think Garret watched and
corrected me last session for my 100 XP for parlay???
