In the interests of harmony use Richard's Orc Champion, I'd hate for the little guys spirit to be crushed. Plus it seems I left mine at home so it'd save me the trip of going there to pick it up after work.

Yes Jory was this months winner.  Too bad he left early (well, I suppose he left on time as we were running late).  But there is a Guargantuan Black Dragon waiting for you (and he is hungry, little dragon snack!)

Septembers prize is two miniatures, a common and an uncommon.  What's so special about these?  Well they are the 2 promo figures handed out at GenCon this year, the Skeletal Reaper and the Bluespawn ThunderLizard (stormlizard?).  Very collectable, and only available at the convention.

There is one more retail kit with Storm Archer cards, that will be next Thursdays Sanctioned prize.  I doubt I will have the Epic Drizzt retail kits in for then, but who knows.  WOTC as usual remains quiet.

Last night was fun, going 3-0.  First game vs Jory went pretty quick against his 5 Clerics of Laogzed.  I'm sure he will feel better with his new GBD though.  Kudos to Jory, he's a great sport.  Second game was vs Richard, which was tactically challenging as we had almost identical warbands (5 LGD's, Blackguard on nightmare & 2 others)  I had the Respawn Firebelcher and Hob. Talon of Tiamat, he had the Witchknife and Mindflayer telepath.  Richards dice betrayed him, otherwise it would have been a much different game.  Third match vs Tyler was the most challenging - 5 Witchknives.  On the first round he stunned all my 6 dragons, effectively leaving me on the starter line with my commander midfield (who was quickly based and fighting for her life).  The stuns continued to wreak havoc all game, and his Baylor even enslaved one of my dragons.  The tides turned once my dragons were free to start actually moving and unleasing their breath weapons.  Time ran out and I was only about 100 points ahead.  But I had to win this final game.  After all I couldn't send Tyler home with his own repainted mini (the SandGiant, which have gave an excellent paint job to).

Now what to build for Saturdays 100 point Sanctioned game...(run by MJ).  And Star Wars Minis at 10 am is also sanctioned, 100 points.

I never thought 5 Witchknives would've done that good. Congrates to Beer Baron for the win, Witchknives are good, but a flight...er pack of Green Dragons is better.

The original plan was to have the Dust Devil (Repainted, sand covered, Air Elemental) as the prize for best pack. The Sand Giant was going to be the 1st prize for the tourny, but because of a mix up we still have the Sand Giant. So what are we doing with it? wait 3 months or so for the next pack hunt?

Apparently the September kit isn't even Drizzt, it's the Archmage. So Drizzt will be in October I guess.

The repaint mini is reported to be a Storm Archer as well.

Well forgive me for being stupider then i normally am :( however i still have a vague idea of whats going on, so congradulations for all the but kicking :) :P
