| Hello,
We had 5 out for the Sanctioned Assault skirmishes tonight. I think we all had a good time. Amazingly, I went 3-0 and actually beat Richard. I don't remember all the bands, but I was playing:
1 x Cleric of Dol Arrah
1 x Couatl
3 x Justice Archon
1 x Celestial Dire Badger
2 x Hill Dwarf Warrior
Richard was playing:
2 x Couatl
1 x Aramil
3 x Justice Archon
1 x Man-at-Arms
1 x Hill Dwarf Warrior
Jay had:
1 x Dark Traveller
2 x Thri-Kreen Barbarian
4 x Wild Elf Ranger
And some filler I forget.
Bram had:
1 x Cleric of Dol Arrah
1 x Dire Bear
1 x Anvil of Thunder
1 x Human Dragonslayer
1 x Dwarf Phalanx Fighter
1 x Skullclan Hunter
1 x Hill Dwarf Warrior
I did not face Rob, but he had Orc Champions, an Eye of Gruumsh and a Red Samurai that I know of.
Hope to see lots of people out on Saturday.

First win was a bye but I played against Scott and beat him while waiting.
2nd Vs Jay
3rd vs Richard who probably should have won but missed my champ twice with his Justice Archon.
The DCI reporter declared me the winner even though I had a bye I'm not sure why, so decided to base it on points instead which also had me out in the lead. I still consider it a tainted victory. | |

| Last nights game was attended by 5 people, who all enjoyed the santioned format. I was a little disappointed to only see 5, and not more. There has been several requests to get these games sanctioned. It is a bit more work, but I don't mind doing it. I hope to see more of you out for the next sanctioned game (other than the prerelease this Saturday).
Is sanctioned gaming a disincentive to come out and play? Let me know. | |

No disincentive to me. Might I suggest that you have November schedules available at the Pre-release for everyone that shows up to increase interest.
It also might help boost attendance if the prize support is switched slightly for Sanctioned matches. If everyone were to get a tile/map and/or repaint, with extra prize support (bin or other) for first & second that might help.

| under dark was a blast. now that i have finished sorting all my minis in to sets once agian i shall soon have a list of the harbengier that i have. on a side note, i have to hand it to virgel, he made it to the finals with no rare's and he only plays once in a while. but the event, as i see it was a complet success!
so are underdark minis legal next thursday???[}:)] | |

I think you'd have trouble getting too many people for limited tournaments. We'll find out how many people show for the one in a couple weeks, but 30+ dollars to play in the tournament can be a bit steep. | |

| Beer Baron, I forgot my damage counters at gameknight. If you find them could you put them to the side or behind the counter so no one takes them. (I doubt anyone will but there is the odd weirdo and beginning player)

| I'd just like everyone to know that I have an Arachnomancer for trade and am looking for:
Half-Feind Ogre, Dreagloth, Marut, and Death Slaad. I might trade it for a Justicator or Helmed Horror, but those four are at high priority.
Also, Beer Baron, I traded Rikka for a Dreagloth so, not until my next booster will you need to try to melt down my Rikka. I know for sure I'll get another Rikka.

Underdark official release for sale is Friday, so:
1) Minis on Thursday - No underdark allowed (I know it isn't sanctioned, but there will be more sessions, including a boosterdraft next Thursday).
2) GameKnight will be open until after midnight, and will start selling you your cases at 12:01 am Friday morning (and not before, so don't come up with any excuse why you neeeeeeed them before midnight because I won't break the rules).
3) Minis on Saturday is cancelled - because it is WORLDWIDE D&D GAMEDAY!!! Come out and play the roleplaying game for free. There are minis to give away with this event, dice, and more.
Omand - if you are planning to be one of my DM's, I have the adventure kit for your perusal anytime. I am still looking for another couple of volunteer DMs. You'll get to keep the maps, dice and/or minis. I tested it on my usual group last night, and it was fun. It will definitely be challenging to the players. Like the ad says..."oh yes........ there will be blood"!

| Hello all,
So, who is going to be out on Thursday? Who is staying for the midnight release?
I have to say I likely will be out for skirmish, but I don't think I am going to be staying until midnight. I have to work on Friday and all that.
Is anyone gong to be at Gameknight on Friday evening for trading, or planning on stopping by on Saturday for Gameday to do some trading as well?

I'll be there on Thursday, but most likely won't still till midnight. Like you I have to work on Friday.
I'll pick up my cases on Friday, but probably won't be there to trade on either friday or saturday. I've got an EC game scheduled for Friday evening, and there's the tournament at galaxy on sunday. Playing minis Tuesday/Thursday/Friday/Saturday/Sunday would be a bit much even for me.
But I'll take the weekend to sort my loot and bring stuff to trade next Thursday most likely. And maybe to Galaxy on Sunday. | |

I want to play my UD minis and buy some boosters. I would never be allowed to stay up till 12:00 on a school night to get a couple of booster packs of minis either.
I will try ot show up on saturday though with my Arachnomancer for trade.[)][)][)]
