Hey Beer Baron, any word on the new retailer kits?
I've got to catch up on my gratuitous posting, especially if I'm going to get a custom avatar. No, wait.....been there done that got the t-shirt....
Retailer kits arrived an hour ago. Yes WOTC after informing me of delays....actually came through.
This months kit has:
A mark of heroes adventure module (we know how much you want those...)
A cone template: Acid "L"
DCI & RPGA Cards
and accoutraments........

| There is confirmed mini in Bloodwar, the Succubus along with two other minis that sound like good PC minis. Someone got a look at them in the new dragon magazine I think that's what he said. Look in General Forum (D&D) to confirm for yourself.

I pulled a Gulgar. The uncommons and commons were pretty decent too. Warforged Bodyguard (which I apparently only had one of :shocked, sacred watcher, quaggoth, couple of orcs, etc. | |

Good to see eight people out for the Bad Warbands day. Congratulations to the Machine Gun Kitty for bringing the worst possible warband. One squishy commander with lots of Require Commander allies equals poof pretty quickly in the wrong circumstances. I might have taken you if my dice had cooperated, but you won fair and square.

| Indeed it was pretty craptacular. I went 3-0 or 0-3 depending how you look at it.
The warband I went with was:
Flesh Golem 51
Large Fire Elemental 50
Magma Hurler 33
Cleric of Gruumsh 21
Wrackspawn 19
Medium Fire Elemental 11
Small Fire Elemental 8
Ophidian 5
Dragon Shrine Temple (8 activations/198 points)
Nico played the other band I posted earlier because the one he brought wasn't legal for the craptacular format.
Nico, Scott, Garret, Jory, Chris L, Chris V, Tyler, and myself were in attendance.
I chose a Roper as the prize for being voted worst warband ever. Strangely enough of the Valorous Prince, Roper, Dromite, and Wizened Elder Watcher (the crappy rares offered up as prizes) none were found in the warbands built today. Lots of Flesh Golems and Spellstitched Hobgoblin Zombies though.
I chose an Angelfire booster as the prize and pulled a Djinni, Feral Minotaur, Justice Archon, Imp, Dwarf Mercenary, Dwarf Raider, Kobold Soldier, and Xeph Warrior. Not too shabby.
Next Saturday Epic. Hope to see you all there. | | | |

| Happy Monday!
This week:
Wednesday - Dreamblade Sanctioned Game, If you have no minis, Rob and Myself will be building warbands for you to use. Volunteers needed as I'd like to have the minimum number of players to get our first ever game up and off the ground.
Thursday - DDM sealed box, with WotDQ and Angelfire, 200 points, cost $29.98 (DQ price reduced for this event). Sanctioned with Rob.
Saturday - Star Wars minis 10:00 am, 150 points. D&D minis 12:00 noon, 500 points, Sanctioned with Mike Jackson.
This will be a good week for me, I get to play in 2 sanctioned events. The challenge is out, now you all have to come out an kick my butt!
