| Not really. A lot more is a relative term. WotDQ was a 60 figure set, but 12 of those were huges, so it's really only 80% of a set, and of those 48 figures most of them kinda suck. I do have 9 boosters or so of unhallowed, but the commons aren't all that useful, and while some of the uncommons are good, and I like several of the rares I got, they don't have the necessary synergy in a lot of cases.
I was thinking about the Tsucora Quori and Caller in Darkness, but the idea commander for that would be the Inspired Lieutenant who is from WD and thus not legal. I was thinking about the werewolf lord, but what animals are there to use his CFX for? Dire bear but he's not legal, neither is the wardrummer or quaggoth slave to help with saves and serve as beefy fodder. The obvious answer would be storm with either shadowdancers, elf warmages, bodyguards, or what have you, but that's a bit too obvious for my liking.
The buggest issue is commanders really. In order really make a warband shine, you need that synergy and within two sets it's really hard to find it. | |

No minis for me this week, as I am working again on Thursday evening and then out of town for work on the weekend. Have fun without me save some of the new campaign packs please (I need new epic cards).
Update over on the D&D Campaign thread for those playing as well.
@ Beer Baron, please save a poster for me when I collect my case. Also, dungeon tiles on that (expensive week). I should be in first thing on Friday morning before heading out of town for work. Busy, busy, busy.
Everyone else see you for league on the 17th.

| We played Settlers (Rob and his better half, Bach, and myself). Richard was there, kept saying he was going to leave to build his warband for tonight..... ended up staying to watch the whole game.

I will try to come out to a Thursday (Haven't for a long while) to beat Richard. I have a warband cooking, stewing, fermenting, bubbling, and all around fine tuning just waiting for a 200 point tourny to tear into anyone's warband with playful cruelty  .

This Saturday is a sanctioned 200 point constructed tournament run by myself. So you better come out with that fancy new warband of yours to challenge Richard. I expect everyone to come out and have fun, maybe play some new Unhallowed minis. Beat Scott and make him cry. Who knows.

Satruday's have been outdrawing Thursdays quite a bit lately actually. I'm expecting a high turn out tomorrow.
