I almost did not play, but an odd player showed up. [:)] I was quite happy. I had a LG warband with 4 dragons (x3 LSD x1 MGD) that I was going to try out but the beholders just were too strong to not try. | |

I won't be there THIS Thursday, but I will be there the next 2. I need to get some playtesting in as well. I'm available on other days at my hotel or my office or someone's home if there is any interest.

| I just found out that I need to be in AZ for a funeral this weekend, so I won't be able to make the 5/7 event. [:(] However, I'm in town until Friday, so let me know if anybody wants to get together for some playtesting this week.

| | We had a small showing for 5/21/05. There were four of us. Jarvissteven sneaked out with the overall win. Two of us were 2-1 and the others were 1-2. Three orc bands with 2-3 orc champs each. One dwarf high AC band. | |

The great part was the Dwarf band (played by a new player) bested the 3 orc champs pioleted by Jarvissteven (top player in Utah). | |

| | I know that they are having activities weekly at the Black Rose. When I went, it was just spikegif and I a couple of times. We opted out of doing the league thing because we were trying to practice for qualifiers. I am fairly sure that the Black Rose is open to League matches. I guess it's just up to the group that shows up on a given Thursday whether they just do their own thing or do the league thing. | |

| I have no idea who will be there this Thursday. One of the players from last Saturday has started going there regularly. I don't know his maxminis username yet.
I don't think I will be making it this time because my wife and I are moving into our new home on Saturday morning and we still have a bunch of packing to do. | |

I've been going on the occasional Thursday. The "league" hasn't really been happening to my knowledge. The last time I showed up, there were 4 of us. The organizer decided to make it a sanctioned tournament. We got the new Zig Zag tile and a Renegade Warlock repaint. Good times.

A campaign is outlined in the Mini handbook. You select a warlord that is 25 pt or less. This warlords gains exp as you play. armies start at 50pt and progress up to 200. You gain points (score) for winning matches. If your score is less then your opponents then you get some free support troops. You can gain magic items as you progress. | |
