| | Hmmmm....see another though I had related to my old favorite cheerleader, the evermeet wiz, and her gang of juggling rats. I really have no idea what to play tomorrow. I just spent a little while pouring over the cards, and still nothing. | | "We can't stop here...This Is Bat country!"

| | Hmm....I thought that teachers were supposed to prevent young minds from being twisted towards the evil that is D&D?.....*snicker* Sorry. I couldn't resist. I am surprised that you don't hate the island. I know that when I was a teenager I pretty much hated everything.......wait.......I'm still like that. [:p] Congrats for joining the community. Do you plan on playing in Ch'town, or are you going to carpool to K-town with Sid o' Sub and us? Seriously. I just realized that that could come off as a joke, but I'm not kidding. Must contain laughter...Goldilocks and the three bears. Now that's a band I've gotta try.
You should really try to use a celestial black bear for baby bear though. I don't think baby's quite a dire bear yet.

I'm not sure if that was a car pool offer lol, but thaks either way, I want to play in K-town(as the cool people seem to be calling it) but even before i go as a noobie i'd still like to get good enough as too not embarass myself. I'd also like to get a solid war band before i play in any tournaments.

I don't know.......elder gods have mastered an insidious form of camouflage known as "plush". This evil trickery renders them immune to the stern gazes of established "adults" and allows them to infiltrate our churches and schools in the hands of their minions and shielded in cuteness. Stop their malign plan and root out this cancerous den of evil that has taken hold of our community. It's up to you. You must burn the school down! ......and the dairy queen! ....wait, I feel like a dilly bar......JUST THE SCHOOL.
OK......now for the disclaimer. Management does not endorse the burning of any public building, dwelling, or demense. Management actully disapproves of any anti-social behavior that is not deemed as "really F'ing funny". Management reserves the right to determine what is or is not "really F'ing funny". DO NOT burn down your school. IF you do......tell tham that you hear satanic messages in your copy of "The Oak Ridge Boys: Greatest Hit". Yeah....that should throw them off.

| Someone appears to be channeling the recently departed gonzo.
Get off the plasticrack, it's doing terrible terrible things to your mind. Or whatever mind you have left after all your other crazy satan worshipping practices (rpgs, magic, ps2).
And for the record, the latest addition is not plush. Rather he is a rubber-like plastic elder demon. So unlike his stuffed predeccesors he can be hurled as a rather painful weapon in case of crisis or extreme aggravation. | | "We can't stop here...This Is Bat country!"

| not sure if i'll make it (probably depends on how much time i spend trying to get my key unstuck), but is this saturday's tourney 350? if so, any advice on metagame or twists i should expect. i've never built 350.
thanks
btw, plush isn't so much a texture as a state of irredeemable cutesy - so just having a hard rubber exterior and good projectile qualities doesn't (necessarily) make it non-plush (although the projectile qualities would be a step in the right direction).

| We've only ever played 350 once. And I think that was one of those days where only 7 people showed, all pretty weird builds. So really, I don't have much of an idea about how the dynamic really works.

| I do expect we'll see a lot of LSD. After all, this is one of the few point builds where you can use an LSD and still put in other 'good' stuff, short of 500 of course.
I expect that many will play coutl with an lsd.
The other time we tried this, I had just gotten my LSD, so I ran it with warforged, which was pretty neat, this was pre-DK of course.

| | actually, timing was such that if I oculd line up a baby-sitter I would be able to play. However, I was thinking that I was disappointed it was going to be 500 pt. I tend to think of 100 and 200 as the 'real' games and 350, 500 and theme nights as fun on occasion. Yet the K-town schedule rotates through one of my so-called real formats and three fun formats. Has anybody suggested relegating either the 350 or the 500 to the occassional theme night and making 100 pts part of the regular rotation? | | | |

| Not a big fan of 500 myself.
Personally I want 100 point in the rotation, If I end up the only one of us up there this Saturday I'll mention it to Ray again. It's just really soon to have another 500 point, at least that's the way it feels. | | "We can't stop here...This Is Bat country!"

| | Just thought I should let people know, that after overwhelming disinterest in the recent 500 point match, I mentioned that most people didn't like them to Ray. Who's response was, "I don't know if people don't tell me." And so now that someone has actually told him, he is going to change the schedule to make 500 a much more rare occurence. | | "We can't stop here...This Is Bat country!"
