While I would be interested in playing (i've sorta been regretting not joining earlier), there are still reasons I'm not sure it's a great idea. Playing Tuesday (my D&D group), Wednesday (this D&D group), Thursday (DDM), Friday (DBM, oh wait, that's deader than poor old Dingle), and Saturday (DDM, as long as it's not a theme game) might be a bit on the too much side.
Then of course there are the intra party personalities to deal with. As a group of adventurers, your lives depend on each other, and if my life depends on someone, I expect them to carry their weight. No shirking responsibilities that end up getting people injured or killed, no fascinating other party members with your bard abilities, etc.
Given that Tyler has volunteered to fill the role, it also seems you've got things well at hand. Gasp, Tyler and Jory together. Shadowdale is doomed. And if it doesn't work out and you need to stick a knife in his ribs (his character's of course) and leave his corpse in a roadside ditch somewhere between Urmlaspaer and Shadowdale, then you know where to find a sorcerer of no small talent. Course, if he doesn't even have a small talent for magic, why would you want to adventure with him?
Plus actually joining the group might decrease the amount of opportunity for smart ass third party comments. Or it could greatly increase the opportunity for first person smart as comments in game. 
That said, if and when you start a new campaign, I would definitely be interested, especially if it coincides with Len's departure which I assume will be the new school year (end of summer) which would likely be when my D&D group takes their break. Playing Wed/Thurs/Sat is much more doable than Tues/Wed/Thurs/Fri/Sat. | |

There were three. Blix is still alive but I think the other two went to the big goblinhole in the sky. | |

And yes, there will be no more facinating fellow party members unless it's used to make Lannister work or sober of Felix.
The new Wizard would come in at 5th, possibly 6th level. I would have to check to see how many people leveled last week.
You may use these stats as I have rolled STR 13, DEX 16, CON 08, INT 17, WIS 12, CHA 14. You may reroll one of these but must accept the result even if it is lower. | | | |

OK, so it seems like George's is the choice for tomorrow. I do, however, like the idea of Chinese for a future date. Perhaps that should be the order for next week?
Delivery is always nicer so that we get more gaming time in.

| Well with Bach defecting the gnome content is equal to the chris content. One more gnome wil double our current gnome content (and elf content, and goblin content).
And Lannister did take guard duty last session, FYI. | |

I picked a Gnome because:
1. If I was a halfling, I'd be the same race as Jory. That may complicate things.
2. I've never played a Gnome (or a wizard for that matter, but don't worry I'll adapt).
3. I was originally thinking of an elf of some sort, but the way I pictured my character, I saw someone smaller.
4. Then I thought dwarf, but that didn't fit the personality very well.
But there's probably one different thing between me and the other Gnomes. I'm level 5 with a DC 21 spell. | |

5. When picking languages with my INT bonus, do I have to pick from that race's bonus language list?
6. Is it normal for a 5th level wizard to have 10 HP? (I might want to re-roll that ability)
7. If I pick a snake as a familiar, the poisonous bite is for the snake, right?
8. Can I pick a tiny animal for my familiar that isn't on the list?
9. For picking a deity, do I pick from the ones in the PHB, or is there only certain ones to pick from?

As soons as everyone gets there. I arrive at 5PM or so, we try to have everyone there by 6.

10PM give or take.

Eat as we go more or less although we try to have supper done before we get to the serious playing, which is all the more reason to have everyone there early.

No breaks, except for Scotty who must service many customers!!!

You should take some of them, I'll allow some leway depending on what you would like.

That is painfully low but a possible character defining trait.

It's for the snake.

Possibly, depending what you want.

You would pick a Forgotten Realms deity, possibly a halfling one. Your choice.
10. We play on Wednesdays only, right?
Generaly yes, a couple times we've shifted to another night when it worked better for everyone that given week.

| Yay, time for a charcter history post!
Born on the first day of Uktar, Nallan Greenthorn was born in Hillsfar as an only child. He meant everything to his parents, Yesther (mother) and Raz (father). His family was friends with a lot of dwarves which meant Nallan learned a lot about darven culture (especially metal working).
At a young age he showed interest in magic so without hesitation his parents entered him into the best magic school they could afford when he was old enough. Nallan was a very bright person so he excelled at magic. Although his halfling couriosity got in the way now and then. He didn't have many friends. Being a halfling meant he didn't see many (if any) halflings at the school. His best friend was an elf by the name of Salnel Lightfoot. Salnel was considered a prodigy among the students.
On his 25th birthday, Nallan snuck into a teacher's study to see what he could find. He wanted a real spell no more of this prestidigitation stuff. He found a spell written in elven. He couldn't read the spell title, but Salnel taught him enough to understand how to cast it.
The next day Nallan decided he would show Salnel. During a class break he went outside with Salnel to show him. He tried once, it didn't work. Second try, he got it. He was facing Salnel, sadly, so Salnel started shivering, eyes filled with fear. Nallan saw a shadowy figure walking towards Salnel. A second later Salnel started running, but the figure caught up to him quickly. The figure enveloped Salnel, and with his final breath, Salnel let out a Horrifying scream of pain and terror.
The incident went into inspection. It was found that Nallan had cast Phantasmal Killer on the prodigial elf. Nallan was nearly finished the school and his parents bribed the school to let him finish. It worked, but Nallan was kept under the strictest, supervised schedual. He gave up all forms of illusionary spells from then on. His spellbook was destroyed and he was given a new blank one.
When he was finished school, his parents weren't as happy to see him as he thought. He had brought shame to his family and they were less then rich now that they had spent all of their savings on saving their son.
Nallan joined an adventuring group soon after to hopefully gain enough money to be able to pay back his parents and be welcomed back. He joined a group of 3 humans and another halfling. The other hafling's name was Merla and she and Nallan fell in love over time. On the autumn equinox during one of thier adventures, the group was chasing an evil wizard across Sembia. They had cornered him in some ruins in the middle of no where. They were about to kill him when he pulled out a scroll and opened a rift to another plane. His friends (including Merla) were sucked into the rift along with the evil wizard. Nallan was lucky enough to hold onto a pillar to save himself.
Nallan went into a deep depression over the loss of Merla. It took a month to gain back his senses. He knew he had to get more money and treasure to be able to return to his family. He felt he needed to find another group soon.
Nallan is 27 years old. I don't know what year you guys are in so I couldn't specify years in my history. | |
