| Omand - I am replying to the guys email now. Maybe something will come of this. He wants to do a D&D day in November. I already have WWD&D day November 4th, and the schedule is full. So I am proposing opening the shop on sunday to host it. We'll see what happens.
Anyone interested in playing D&D on a sunday afternoon? Being a DM? Or running a minis game? Or doing a game demo? | |

Hope everyone is doing OK and up for D&D minis tomorrow evening.
@ The Beer Baron,
A Sunday might just work for me for a Game Day. I have to admit, however, that Nov 12 is the only day that would work for me.
Of course, for pulling in new business you don't need me there, you need the new guys, with Rob doing demos, etc.

| Well, my trip to Grand Forks was a bust in the D&D sense. One collector store and they had a lot of minis. There were A&A, Star Wars, Heroclix, and Mechwarrior (I think that's what it's called). No DDM. Oh well.

| Bit of a disappointing turnout for the tournament last night, only 6 people. Also some very weird DCI shenanigans going on. After the second round Chris L and I were both 2-0, Bram and Mike J were both 1-1, and Chris B and Niko were both 0-2. None of the players with the same records had played each other, so you'd think the software would match up the 2-0's, the 1-1's, and the 0-2's right? Wrong. It matched me against bram (2-0 vs 1-1), Mike J vs Niko (1-1 vs 0-2) and the really odd thing, Chris L vs Chris B (2-0 vs 0-2). What the heck?
Anyway, I went 2-0 and pulled a mounted paladin. Those angelfire boosters have been good to me the last couple weeks. Large Copper Dragon last week and mounted paladin this week, which i'm going to trade to Niko. | |

I don't think we've hit double digits at a tournament since July. Hopefully things pick up as we approach the prerelease.
I'll be there for Dreamblade but I'll have my own minis such as they are. Bring an extra band for Nico though and he'll probably play. | | | |
