| Here is Rob's list (but only the new stuff, gems, gold, and non-magic not copied and pasted)
Perhaps our XP bonus this week could be this: Either a) Devise the best way to split this loot and explain why or b) vote for whose plan is best, and explain why. Our benevolent DM can either approve or dissaprove, and decide how much XP and when the deadline is.
Lannister's perspective in italics:
Evil Greatsword (to sell) - or to sacrifice at the Temple of Lathander when we get back (they'll like us for doing the right thing, we'll get piety points, and maybe they'll reward us with healing potions or something.)
Set of Magical Scimitars - Cutter's best pick, as he is our scimitar expert.
Stone of Alarm - Gawain is usually our protector, and with this he can protect his own stuff. If he doesn't want it, I know I can use it for setting traps to protect/warn us of possible threats following us.
Adamantine Battle Axe (to sell?) - This may be handy to keep, in case we have to fight something with damage reduction, like a golem, warforged thingy, animated object, or deranged treant.
Potion of Sanctuary - Veil is a good fit here. He can play his lute/banjo/kazoo and not worry about being hit whilst doing so.
Composite Shortbow +2, Mighty +1, Frost - Casey is the best for this
Arcane Scroll: Enlarge Person, Scare - Nallan is best fit for this. He'll cast enlarge on one of us, and use scare to drive away foes we might not want to kill. It doesn't count as his share because he is the best arcane caster, and he'll cast them on us.
Scimitar +1 - Cutter adds another one to his collection, or sell for party treasure. Maybe Blix?
Wand of Shocking Grasp (24 charges) [i] - Nallan again here.
Heavy Steel Sheild +1 - Gawain is our tank, if he doesn't use large sheild, then sell this.
Potion of Protection from Arrows 10
Potion of Barkskin +2 - A minor item for our guest monk female (Feena). Nothing too crazy for her first share of party loot.
Greatsword +3 - Lannister (that's me) would do well to have a really good sword. I can always pass it on to Felix later. If not me, then Cutter.
Divine Scroll: Windwall, Remove Disease, Freedom of Movement - Gawain of course, but it doesn't count as his share because he is the only divine caster, and he'll cast them on us.
Large set of Full Plate +4 - Either we recruit an ogre henchman, or sell this
Rod of the Viper - Only works if user is evil another sacrificial item for Lathander.
Ring of Water Walking - I would say Veil, as he is getting the least from this hoard so far, but if it has been decided that he is getting the Tome, then this should go to Gawain. He, being heavily armored is most likely to be in trouble if we come to a large body of water and he falls in.
Something for everyone, and some for party treasure. | |

They gave a magical itme to a goblin. A goblin! I don't understand why this goblin is so special. If this group has someone pulling the strings from behind the scenes, I'd have to guess it was that goblin.
We have come accross a portal that sends you anywhere you want just by thinking of the place! I'm sure of it. But we might as well finish up this cave (there could be lots of treasure hidden somewhere). So we have 3 options, the portal, a route with the sounds of spiders, or the quiet route. We chose the 3rd one. Lannister tried to open the door but was seared with a magical acid. The cleric dispelled the effect after the ranger yelled at me for not having the spell myself. I'm sure he wants to kill me. Geick, this is your fault putting me in this situation.
We gave up on the door as it seems to need a stone to open. We tried to go back to the crossroads through the portal, but for some reason we didn't end up there. I don't understand why, but I didn't have time to think it through as we were attacked by gargoyles. We killed them, but then the barbarian started attacking us! He must have wanted to kill me. In his blind rage, he attacked the cleric, I took this chance to hide behind Lannister. It worked as the barbarian came running toward us. He stopped as soon as he saw Lannister. I must be right. The barbarian wants to kill me too. We've also found a wounded human woman. She seems to have joined us for the time being. I'll never understand these people. They attack me and want to kill me, but they let a complete stranger sit around with them without even telling them her name.
We found a secret door, but it is blocked by a demonic ward of some sort. We'll die if we go through. We waited what felt like weeks for the cleric to finally open the door. All the while everyone was breathing so hard, taking up the air. I spoke (yelled) auran, hopeing the language would somehow bring good air back into the room. It must have worked. Lannister started choking around me. Good, cough out all that good air, I thought. I was tempted to kill some of the animals (and possibly the goblin) to conserve the air, but before that took place, the cleric opened the door.
We all rushed in. The air was cleaner (in an underground sense). I felt better. There was a portal to the plane of negative energy inside protecting a pile of loot. The ranger went to look for traps, but was hit with the negative energy from the portal. The cleric managed to stop the portal for a couple of seconds. Some of the more foolish group members ran, but I had a feeling the cleric's ability wouldn't last. I was right. The portal turned back on as they got to the treasure. | |

That being said here is this week's bonus XP reward for posting. Letters home from camp!!!
With plenty of free sitting around a dank smelly room time on your hands, wondering if you should have the eggs or pancakes with your Lannister Bacon, you'll have some time to do some writing. This time in the form of a letter to either of the dearly departed party members Nymagus or Felix. Letters should detail the party's exploits since they parted company with the recipient of the letter.

What about me (Nallan)? He's never met them. You may write a letter to whom ever it may concearn. Or occupant. Your choice.
As for your spellbook the DM says it should contain 11 1st level spells, 6 2nd level spells, and 5 3rd level spells, with one of them being a transmutation spell per spell level. If you have less spells than that known, make the adjustment.

| Wow, I was way off. I figured out though, that the PHB I have doesn't specify spells known only spells per day for a wizard. That's why I have 4 1st level spells, 4 2nd level spells, and 3 3rd level spells (I used one to get a metamagic feat).
I still don't know how you got those numbers, but thanks. And spells per day is still 4 (0 lvl), 3 (1st), 3 (2nd), and 2 (3rd) level spells? Thats what it says for a 6th level wizard in my PHB. | |

| A wizard starts out knowing 3 spells + his intelligence modifier, if you're a specialist you learn an extra of the speciality type. Each time he gains a level he learns 2 new spells, eac time that is an advancement to a new spell level an additional spell of the specialiaty type is learned as well.
This is why in the long run Wizards are superior to sorcerers, versatility.
I threw in a couple extra spells to simulate a wizards ability to add new spells they find in their journies as well. | | | |

| Hello,
So, been busy with work and stuff again. Trying to catch up with everything.
I have to agree with Lannister (for the most part) in terms of division of the loot and what we should do with those items we can't use. Of course, the evil sword must be destroyed. I have a few more thoughts that I have to put together and will likely post tomorrow.
As to dinner, while I enjoy George's I have ended up eating out for the past three days at places like George's. I might take a pass on dinner on Wednesday. We will see what happens tomorrow and how I feel.

So, seeking the DM's permission here for the potions granted to Gawain and Blix:
Gawain - Potion of Lesser Restoration
Blix - Potion of Cure Moderate Wounds, Potion of Invisibility

And, on the theme of magical items, my thoughts on our current treasure haul:
Evil Greatsword - must be destroyed so that it does no more evil. Likely through my temple in Shadowdale once we get back.
Magical Scimitars - Cutter's property in my opinion.
Stone of Alarm - I see this as a general item for the party to use every night as added security for the camp.
Adamantine Battle Axe - A sale item in my opinion.

Large Full Plate +4 - Sale item, I don't really believe in any of the enlargement tricks that were batted around. Duration of the spells is just not long enough for getting into the armour and fighting.
Rod of the Viper - Still have to think on this one. Likely a sale item, but controlling snakes and have a stick that can turn into a snake might be helpful at times.
Ring of Water Walking - I could use this so that I don't sink if I ever fall overboard on a boat. It could go anywhere around the party, however. Definitely not an item to be sold, no matter what.

| Dear Felix,
I hope that this missive finds you well and safe in Shadowdale. How are things in the temple? Can I trouble you to check in on my sisters while you are about the dale? I know that Tasha is likely off travelling with Darian, but Alya was still moody last I saw her and I still worry about her. Perhaps you can cheer her up a bit with some tales about our adventures, but then again perhaps that is not the best idea. Whatever you do, DO NOT try to take her to the Old Skull for a night on the town. Last time she brought you home in a wreck as I recall, while she seemed stone cold sober. She learned a great deal in her years serving.
Back to the main business, however. We have been forging onwards in our efforts to exonorate Lannister fully, and also to defeat evil. There are many evils about in the land these days. I am almost beginning to suspect a vast conspiracy of evil is directed towards the dales. We have found more tunnels of the dark elves, and we have been tracking what we suspect to be a Red Wizard of Thay in the company of Feena the jewel thief for much of the past two ten days. Our latest adventure has seen us almost being eaten by a great tentacled beast of the depths that Lannister called a Heffalump. I have never heard of such a thing, but he seemed sure of it. After that I had to save Lannister from a magical trap that almost ate away his bones with acid under his skin. Failing to enter the chamber beyond the door that Lannister could not pick, we entered a magical portal instead and have now spent over 6 days trapped in various chambers filled with one-way portals to unknown destinations. My holy power chanelled from Lathander has allowed us to pass through the portals so far with little harm, but all of them have been warded with evil magic, necromantic taints or negative energy so far. I shudder to think where we will end up when we attempt to get through this next gate from a drow treasury that we have raided (or such is what we can gather from the decor and make up of the place).
We have obtained a strongly magical greatsword that I could see you wielding to smite evil. As well, we have picked up a magical large steel shield that would complement your armour. I hope that we manage to meet up soon so that you can catch up on all of our travels and also look over these items.
If you should have a chance to get in contact with Nymagus through Storm ask him to consider returning to our aid. We seem to run into portals all over the place these days and his expertise would be welcomed greatly.
