| | That sounds like a lovely meal, Mike. If it gets called in for, say, around a 5:30 pickup, I can snag Nico after work then slip up to the Chopstick and pick up the food. That way, the food will be waiting at the store at around 5:45, an incentive for everyone to arrive early, eat quick, then do away with the were-critters! | | All hail the mighty Green Rhino! | |

| I would say that 3x breaded and s&s chicken balls is a bit much why don't we change out the chicken balls for #19 Beef Chow Mein and add #135 Sweet and Sour sauce and #139 Lemon sauce for the chicken. I will be coming from work so I will get to the store around 4:30 I can go pick it up. Maybe we can split it into 2 orders and get double the free fried rice. | | Champion of Champions (for all races! even Gnomes ) Reference Thread Winnipeg Gryphon Cavalry Forums

| The chow mein was the thing that wasn't so good last time. If we want more noodles we can double up one of the other ones perhaps.
Do we want thick or thin noodles doubled up?

I ordered some minis today. Those Paize ones, and magnificent egos ones, and the ship thingy, weren't available (not carried). I can try one other source (like for ME figs), and I did track down old glory stuff to a Canadain source, so I can try there as well for the ship. How does that sound? Hello,
Busy, busy, busy again.
I am all for the Chinese food arriving early so that we have more gaming time. I should be able to arrive between 5:30 and 5:40 as usual.
As to the menu ...
I don't think we should go overboard on Breaded Chicken or Honey Garlic Pork. Might I suggest the following compromise:
2 x 95 Breaded Chicken 1 x 69 Sweet and Sour Chicken Balls 1 x 77 Honey Garlic Pork 1 x 125 Special Chow Mai 1 x 43 Beef Mixed Greens 1 x 34 Chicken Shanghai Noodles
Add on one more item, maybe some eggrolls or spring rolls?
Cost sounds good to me.
Chris

Just let me know what name mine will be ordered under (I would prefer Lenard, for obvious reasons, but I can be whoever I need to be) and Nico and I will go get it as quick as we can. I get off at 5, should pick up Nico around 5:15ish, which means we should be able to pick up the food at about 5:30. | I think the final order stands like this:
Len and Nico can get the:
34 Chicken Shanghai Noodles 77 Honey Garlic Pork 95 Breaded Chicken x 2 125 Special Chow Mai Free fried rice
Total 39.55 - 10% + tax = 40.58
Rob gets the:
43 Beef Mixed Greens 69 Sweet and Sour Chicken Balls (For Nico) 77 Honey Garlic Pork 95 Breaded Chicken 125 Special Chow Mai (do we need 2 of these?) 135 Sweed and Sour Sauce 139 Lemon sauce Free fried rice
Total 40.25 - 10% + tax = 41.30
Grand total = 81.88 split 7 ways is 11.70 each
If we drop one of the breaded chicken or the 2nd Chow Mai it drops it down to about 10.50 each. | | Champion of Champions (for all races! even Gnomes ) Reference Thread Winnipeg Gryphon Cavalry Forums

| $12 is okay with me. It's a special occasion.
Since you added the chicken balls back in we could drop a breaded chicken but those who like the balls better stay away from my far superior Breaded Chicken.
We went with the extra chow mai because it went pretty quick last time and we have a couple extra people this week.

| Torchy's Take - Nallan Proditor
Torchy never liked Nallan from day one. His jib was poorly cut, poorest job of jib cutting that Torchy ever saw. Worst jib ever. It shames Torchy to see a fellow halfling with such a horrible jib.
Torchy knew he was an incompitent, perhaps even dangerously incompitent. By Yondalla's grace though he made Lannister look like a member of the Night Masks..... Torchy's seen Nallans brand of incompitence take down many an adventuring comapny. Torchy thought you may have been the next one if he stuck around....
Torchy never thought he would be dumb enough to hitch his cart to the cause of evil though. Poor dumb stupid patheticaly jibbed bastard...... Remembers Torchy of the time he was torchbearing for the Company of the Bronze Mace out of Elturel. They had them a young halfling wizard too, went by the name Bibby. He had him a pretty good jib though unlike Nallan, Torchy kind of liked him. Weren't no smarter than Nallan though. Damn fool hooked up with this halfling wizard next thing you know he's spounting off about how the party betrayed him and he was going to come back for revenge. The poof he's teleported away.
So the Mace's figure the poor idoit's under the evil wizards power even though he wasn't so they go and try to rescue him. Big mistake. They're lead into a big trap, killed to a man and risen as the evil wizard's undead minions. Things didn't turn out too well for Bibby either, one day later the evil wizard reveals his true purpose. Seems he only took Bibby under his wings to harvest his vital organs as a source for his infernal experiments in infusing them with unholy engeries and transplanting them in his own body. What was left of the poor bastards corpse was tossed in the nearest bog.....
Wouldn't surprise me if what's left of Nallan's bloated organless body is floating somewhere in the nearest swamp.
It's almost sad in a way.

| Casey's take on Nallan.
Okay, that was odd. That Nallan guy was messed up. We saved his sorry arse when he was stumbling around in catacombs he never would have found his way out of. We kept him covered as best we could every time combat came around. We depended on him time after time and he almost always let us down. Then, we equip up in Shadowdale and give him a full share of the treasure. No worries, bad luck follows everyone from time to time, so we thought he might pull out of his slump. Now we find out he's in league with some evil wizard and off he's gone for tutelage. He claims that he stole thousands of gold from us, but that was his share of the loot! I'm glad I had misgivings of him off the bat, at least I know my ability to read people hasn't gone by the wayside. Torchy had a great story and I think I agree with his take on Nallan. I really do hope the guy the best, when it comes down to it. He's had a rough start to his adventuring career, if he can survive his stay with the wizard perhaps he can learn from his mistakes and start again. Sliding a bit to the dark side can help you combat it later. At the same time, if I ever see him again he's as good as dead! I had my arrows nocked and ready to fire, but Cutter got in the way and tried to hold him. I'm sure I would have killed him where he stood, but I'll have to save that for next time.
Casey's plan for the future
For now, we've got a family of Hin to look after as we track down these bloody werewolves. At least we don't need a wizard for this. These Hin have lost everything. I think, once we secure the area, I'm going to ask Gawain for his blessings and Lathandar's protections to restart the village. They'll need someone to help with the running of the place. I'm going to sell off anything I can spare to rebuild this little hamlet and to recruit more Hin families to the area. One of the surviving sisters is actually kinda cute, though I'm certainly going to go slow. She's just lost almost everyone she knows. I can't take advantage of her that way, but, perhaps, in time, something might come of it. The Shadowdale Light Fellowship will no doubt be fine without me, since they started without me, though I think I see retirement in the cards for them all soon. Lannister will likely head back to Urlamspyr to the Rusty Trollop, if they'll accept him in his Goblin form. Veil could set up full time as the bar's entertainment. Gawain and Felix could start their own Church somewhere. Cutter, well, I don't know what to expect for him. He could be the muscle at the Trollop or he could go find a rough woman somewhere and start his very own Barbarian Clan. There will always be evils in the Realms, but I think we've done our part. If called upon, I and the others will surely do what we can, but I think its time to start helping a new generation of adventurers before we push our chances too far. | | All hail the mighty Green Rhino!

| Cutters take on Nallan:
I couldn't help but like the little guy, he wasn't much smarter then I am after all, and I've always had a soft spot for the little guys except the gnomes they give the all the smaller races a bad name. But anyway I don't like the idea of Nallan working with an evil Wizard but if thats what he wants so be it, but if he knows whats good for him he better not mess with the Shadowdale Light Fellowship or I have a few choice cuts with his name on them.
For the future:
Its still pretty early in my career to be thinking about retirement, I will probably take a break when the rest of the group does, maybe follow Nymagus out to Evermeet and help protect the young girl until she is ready for the task that destiny has laid out for her. | | Champion of Champions (for all races! even Gnomes ) Reference Thread Winnipeg Gryphon Cavalry Forums

| Nice to hear the plans for the future. That was in fact going to be the last XP bonus for this camapign. As a way to wrap things up I was going to offer the opertunity for everyone to post and where they see their characters going from here.
After tonight's session all those that do will earn a +10% XP premium on the first session of the next campaign. Those not in the new campaign can either assign their bonus to another player or players or save it for a future campaign.

| Lannister's take on Nallen.
Well, at first I felt bad when we first met, and I shot the little guy. I've been carrying that guilt around for a while. Now I wish I had just put that bolt through his eye! Yeah, the world certainly doesn't need another evil wizard, especially an inept one. So, he milks us for what we're worth and takes off. I think he's a jerk. Now of course, we'll all have to be watching our backs until he shows up for his "vengence". Well, with a bit of luck on our part, the luck that he had identifying those portals will continue to dog him when he learns some big powerful spell and he'll just blow himself up. If not, I'll just put another few bolts in him when I get the chance. And there's a good chance he won't even recognise me as a goblin. With some luck maybe I'll get back in a human body, and make it even more difficult for him. And if he tracks me down to the Rusty Trollop, I'll be sure to implement a "No halflings" policy. Shouldn't surprize anyone from a "goblin" run bar.
Plans for the future:
Well I think my time with this wandering band is coming to a close. We as a group have very little to tie us together other than thirst for adventure. Sure, some of them are good guys, but then agin there are some I won't miss. Casey's been a good friend, and I wish him well on his werewolf hunting. Gawain's a nice guy, just a tad to straight for me. Cutter is now phsycotic, so I won't miss him. I don't hate the guy, I'm just more comfortable when he's not around. Veil sure isn't his dad. Too bad, I kinda liked Fiddlin' Dingle. Nymagus is gone (good riddance). Felix I'm going to miss. I'll have to tell him that the firstround at the Trollop is always on the house. Thagnor, well I hope he comes around too. Blix, well, he's kinda stupid, but he kinda grows on me, like fungus. Torchey, well he's always got some good stories, even if everyone dies in them. And then there is Nallan. Ha ha ha, I'd shoot him again. Hopefully I won't miss.
And me, well, I think going back to the Rusty Trollop and trying my hand at running the place. Hopefully I can get away with it as a goblin. I'm going to have to figure out a way to get out of this body and into a human one again. It's going to be hard to get myself some action with the ladies, and face it the goblin chicks are just ugly. Maybe I can turn the 'Trollop into an adventurer's bar and make some contacts with some of them. Then they can find out how to get me human again.
