Trouble with the car is worse than I thought, I managed to break off 2 studs so we are taking the car to a dealership and its probably not worth coming back at this point I don't think. I would call but I don't have anyones number, I thought Nico put his somewhere in the thread. Hope Nico doesn't mind having my stuff there for the week. | |

| Espionage, music and a horrible, quick and perhaps permanent death in the dark were the themes last night. I had a good time last night and I think everyone else did, thanks again Mike. Idzy, we misssed you last night but damsels in distress always do need someone to save them!
Also, apparently evil outsiders don't like the "Light of" series of spells so you can chalk one up for team cleric.
Also also, Grath went banana's on a devil's spiky ass and double-sneak-attack-critted him into bite size pieces. Requiem has a whole new respect for the banana loving furrball! | |

It's a transition thing with the 2 main fighters dying, losing the 3rd with the switch to tuesday. Garret wanted to be a rogue (3rd in the party) therefore Smythe dropped his Rogue to take on more of a melee role. | | | |

| Hello,
I will be out on Tuesday, of course, and I am on the "other" side of the river compared to Idzy, but I have to get my brother to an important appointment right after work as well.
I could pick up people from GameKnight for the drive to Nico's, but I would not be able to pick people up until about 5:30 to 5:45 I suspect.
Let me know if that is how you want to do things (of if something else will work).
Also, remember, I will be bringing desert!

| Tales-from-the-not-so-Ex-Chronicler April 8th, 2008 Session 28???
Don't Gnome Over Your Toes!
The Party stands outside of Raven's Bluff ontop of a green grassy hill. The Party
heads into town which is a good mix of all sorts of different races. As the Party
re-equips itself - Requiem and Grath go in search of the Adventurer's Guild - they
run into a BUFF Elf by the name of QUARION. After some botched intros - (Requiem
and Grath are less than clever) the ELF reluctantly agrees to join the Party (No
answer to our Ads). The Party settles into the Bronze Kettle Inn - Quarion
describes himself as a Sword of Corellion - Dustblade. As the Party rests for the
rest of the day - Beregon continues to Scry The Crystal Ball for his brother, Wizards of
Thay and then the Nancourt Manor and is finally successfull. Beregon sees the outside
of the Manor with a big iron gate, guarded by four city guards. Manor is the home of
the Thay Wizards on a hill in a distant city. Beregon is able to get a rough idea as to
where this city is in distance and direction. He also scries - An Iron Golem!!! :(Â
In the meantime as the Party equips itself - new armour and weapons - Requiem is
about the town inquiring in a female discreet way about the Wizards of Thay. Requiem
is threatened away from the topic in short order from everyone; even if she propositions
herself at the same time! The Gnome rogue - Jonath - is out stealing purses to pass the
time. The Party decides to spend another day equiping and resting. Beregon spends the
day copying spells. Cedrith ensures everyone is well rested and equiped. Requiem
disciplines Jonath for stealing 32 GP from a fat merchant and returns to baking cupcakes
after an unsuccessfull day trying to charm the townfolk outta secrets about the
Red Wizards of Thay. Grath relishes his new Masterwork crossbow from a distance
(Cedrith holds it) cause he spends the day fairly intoxicated in Migwin's honour - I miss
you Migwin! Cedrith and Quarion finish the day off praying. The end of the day sees
the procurement of teleport scrolls to help us to our destination.
Disguised in hooded black robes that hide our general appearance - we teleport to
Mullmaster in 2 groups using scrolls. Beregon teleports Grath, Cedrith and Quarion to ...
a distant deserted wilderness spot not in Mullmaster!!! After a quick correction ... Beregon
teleports us to a hill just out of Mullmaster. We decide on a plan of general deception -
Beregon is a wealthy noble slave trader; Quarion is his Bodyguard; Grath and Cedrith
are the muscle enforcers while Requiem and Jonath are the slaves to be traded. We
approach Mullmasters front gates ... and perform! Beregon presents us as human
slave traders - "We have slaves for the market, can they recommend a good Inn &
do they recognize the name Valin from Susale???"Â The guards seem less than duly
impressed, recommend The Iron Dagger as a good safe Lodgings and they don't recognize
the name at all.Â5 GP a head to enter - Cedrith - pay the man! After getting directions
to The Iron Dagger Beregon negotiates a 3 GP with (tip extra) for 1 evening including
1 GP bath and breakfast - from a fat eye-patched balding Inn Keeper. We make our
way to our room upstairs of the reasonably quiet and well kept 3-storey stone Inn.
Grath detects or listens to nothing at the door - but - Beregon and Cedrith determine that
... a Clair Audience Spell has been cast on the room ... someone is listening in on the Party!?
Everyone performs their rolls - Beregon orders his bucket-o-water for his steaming bath!
Requiem starts to sing to counter the spell as Grath takes a Hadozee bath and splashes
around! Jonath counts his toes - grossing out Requiem who pauses momentarily - she
continues to sing a sad tale to counter the spell as she adds perfume and bubbles to
Grath's bath!ÂGrath is becoming all moon-eyed and smitten with Requiem who pats him! 
I'll continue at work - no more parts | |
