I left the buns in the sink to thaw out.  I didn't do that for the frozen burgers or
hotdogs. Should i take those out as soon as i get home??? As for side dishes -
i already said a couple bags of frozen fries or maybe a pre-made SAFEWAY delight!
Or as Rob has said, relish and condiments are pretty much a side! 
Or the potatoe chips!

Everyone earned 3278 XP for the past couple sessions. I'm going to offer up another 1000 XP to each player who posts a semi-detailed account of the past couple sessions from their perspective.

But, what are we going to do next from that Plane once we heal up?  I think we should seriously think about heading
back while the trail isn't cold. Were too close to finding Elren and that Red Thay Wizard who got away. Even if Grath may die
want to try and advance the story cause we still have to find Salty Pete's lost ship and Monkey Isle!!!
C'mon guys, how many more Iron Golems and Red Fay Fire casting Wizards could they possibly have in that Manor anyway???
I didn't even get to loot it!!!! Â Lets not forget Grath has some monkeying about with Requiem yet!  !!!! | |

Yeah, I meant tomorrow night. I'm still half asleep from that seminar this morning. A droning, monotone voice filtered through a crappy mic talking non-stop for an hour make Mikey sleepy..... the only way I survived was thinking about the prospect of some sweet WoW time tonight.

Cedrith after healing everyone up reflects:
It's been an interesting couple of days, one moment we are battling were-rat priates and killing a cursed Jars. The next we are teleporting across the sea to rescue Beregon's brother, picking up new party members and killing town guards. I'm not sure what to think of the Gnome, where did he disapear to, it certainly seemed like he had been disintegrated. These Red Wizards are a dangerous bunch to be sure, and this one needs to be put down after he nearly killed us. The new guy will take some getting used to, I miss having Migwin at my side in battle and tharnog and Jars aswell. Requiem is a woman who has a heart that follows my own in some ways, she does not seem to love battle as much as I but it is clear she has Correlon's favour aswell and she is such a sight to behold...

1 little toe he tumbles and fights better vs. WERE-RATS... but he no glide better!!!
2 toe HOT, HOT, HOT ... too much flame damage ... fireballs all over the DROWNED RAT!
3 toe scuttle the ship .... AWW ... me want cursed ship of the Rat!
4th little toe ... is missing!!!! Jonath!!!! Give me my Hadozee little Toe Back!!!
5th Big Toe to boot ... Off to Raven's Bluff ala Beregon Teleport style ... to find Elren!
                                    Meet Up with Salty Pete, Percy and 1st mate Migwin at Pirate Isle later.
                   That 1st adventure I wake up to - have 2 hands to count other one!
1st finger I miss Salty Pete ... WHAAAAA!!!! 
2 finger we equip ourselves in Raven's Bluff while Requiem bakes muffins, Gnome steal purse,Â
   Cedrith prays and Beregon gazes into ball.
3 finger Quarion (Elf of Corellion joins party) Requiem and I go on date to find ... some Elf dude!
4th ring finger, we teleport to nowhere ... then Mulmaster ... pretend to be slave traders inside.
5th finger our room is bugged and we watched so we give good show as we search for Manor.
Last Hand!!!
1st finger sneak out of Inn 3rd floor ... find Manor ... guards not to cooperative!
2nd finger ... guards escorting us away ... lovely Requiem fails to charm guard ... they smack us around!
3rd finger Uh Oh!!! Temple of Bane ... Bane guards mutate into demons as we flee invisible like!!!
4th ring finger ... is missing ... i can't blame Jonath for this one ... Uh Gnome nearly dead and dying in street
                              8 city guards approach!!! I notice red blood splocth so might be Jonath, i feel bad now! 
5th finger Storm the Manor ... Red Thay Wizard escapes without his Iron Golem, were nearly dead but
                              safe now in ... Divine Realm thingy!!! .... No Elren ...Sorry Beregon, c'mere Requiem!!!
 Well, That is all Grath's perspective ... cause ... outta fingers and toes ... unless Gnome lends me some toes!

| Tales from the Chronicler April 15th, 2008. Session 29???
Pop Goes The Gnome or Close But Gnome Cigar
The Gnome lies broken, bloody and dying down the street ... invisible ...
with city guards approaching. They pass the guts and gore without
tripping over his near corpse ... 8 Mullmaster Town Guards. The
Party retreats up and over the iron gate to the Manor. Two guards and
a Green Wizard approaches from the Manor ... Eck!!! Beregon casts
grease under the 8 city guards, Quarian casts a seeking ray, Cedrith casts
shield of faith (+3 AC on everyone), Requiem sings to inspire (+8), Grath is
done scaling the gate and failing to fight the surrounding guards through
the gate. Beregon conjurs up a Cold Fireball and kills the 2 guards. And
a long battle ensues!!! I was in the bathroom - tired from food. So we
were victorious with much hilarity and rejoicing ... commence the looting!
Oh, ... and Cedrith cured that Gnome guy in the street ... Jonath something
or other. No fear Requiem ... your child is alive (minus a few toes).
The Green Wizard is searched by Beregon who finds a Black Onyx Ring, Ivory
Rod & a Masterwork Dagger. To search the Manor - it is decided - that the
Rogues should tumble in and flank just inside the main foray. Grath and
Jonath tumble in ... POOF ... a green ray disintegrates Gnome and Grath
takes half his health in damage!ÂBeregon temporarily disable the dis-
integration trap and calms a disturbed Hadozee. The Party has entered and
reluctantly searches the main room - Grath especially takes his time after ...
gulp ... Jonath's accident! The Main room is nothing special - but the central
door forward has an alarm spell - the room is flanked by 2 side rooms. Grath
takes his time (20) and finds nothing in the waiting room to the right. He
also finds nothing in the library to the left. Again the bathroom - somehow
we disable the alarm spell we think. The next room of the Manor splits to
either side again - Grath goes right into a kitchen; then riight again into a door
and down the stairs to a pantry - nothing special. Grath seems to shake! Off
to the left from the center room is a room with ... stairs ... leading up!!! We
check out the forward door and find ... stairs ... leading down. Bad feeling
about this - or - just another pantry!!!
Hey - Jonath pops to life in a green flash - - what wicked evil plot is this!!!
Oh No!!!! The Red Thay Wizard who had Elren on the ship back in Westgate!!!
And his Iron Golem too!!! wwith a some minor guards! We prepare to leave
the bottom stairs foray.ÂCharge in there Grath!!!ÂGrath charges in and ... gets
slammed down hard by the Iron Golem's feet ... Ouch!!! Requiem backs herself
into the corner and starts her inspiring song of (+8). Grath's tumble in failed
but the Gnome has no problem getting past! Quarion teleports to the center
of the room past the Iron Golem to engage the Red Thay Wizard! Cedrith helps
Grath and the rest of the party does make it into the room. The Party is dismayed
at the fact of a Wall of Force at the back of the room stops any attack made
against the Red Thay Wizard!!! The Party is forced to attack the guards and
the Iron Giant first! The Party dispatches with the guards and barely escape
inflicted wounds from the Iron Golem - in fact Grath gets a snoot full of green
poision gas from the Golem itself! Quarion and Beregon notice 2 red Orby Gems
in the ceiling and - acid splash it, attack them and then loot them??!! The
Party takes its share of Fire Damage - some of us go down!!! The Red Thay
Wizard flees out the side wall through ... a portal but not before Beregon can
get some lightening down the line on him and the Golem?! and Grath goes to
investigate the missing Thay Wizard ... Grath there is a battle going on!!!
(no meta-gaming pls)  Quarion is down! Beregon is down! Jonath is down
(silly Gnome - tricks are for kids!) NOOOOOOO!!!! Requiem my love is down!!!!
  Grath and Cedrith must prevail ... Grath ... get in the fight. The Red Thay
Wizard even pops up from the stairs foray to attack us again and pops away again.
I forget who delivered the telling blow ... (I think it was that Gnome guy after
healing!!!) Iron Golem goes down ... but ... so are we!!! Surely more guards
are on the way - and we are in no condition to fight ... were all dying!!!
Cedrith prays and invokes an escape for us to the Arvandor Plane for rest!
Requiem (my love) is brought back to life - yeah! and we are all
healed up - how does time pass??? Surely the Manor is teeming with guards or
Wizards if we go back ... or deserted!!! Who can tell ... was Elren up-stairs!!!
We may never know if Elren (Elvis) was in the building! What do we do now?
We got the Iron Golem ... not the Red Wizard!!!
 Time for more Tuesday Shennigans!!! Â Oh What will we ever do???
I say we go back for Elren - go out in a blaze of glory!!!
So close but Gnome cigar!!!! | |

On the orders of the high priest of Corellon I traveld to Raven Hill to await the coming of one prophecied. While waiting in the adventurers guild for him I was approached by a gorgeous elfen woman of fey mien. She offered me work on board a ship bound to deal with an evil threat and free a number of slaves held by the Red Wizards of Thay. Believing that this vision of lovelyness could only be Corellon's hand at work I decided to accept the commission knowing it was what my God wanted of me. When I reached the ship I was introduced to a motely assortment of individuals whose motives I would have found cause to doubt save that I encountered the one who I had been sent to Raven Hill to meet. Knowing now beyond eany shadow of doubt that Corellon was guiding me in this as in all things I set sail with a light heart. I have not discussed my duty to guard the prophesied one with anyone even he who is my charge because I fear that it will be taken amiss by him especially since he seems an independant sort though willing to be guided by Corellon as well. After many days of sailing we reached an area that the ships wizard deemed close enough to teleport us to Mulmaster and thus save the time and hope the ship would arrive should we need to make a quick exit. After a day of rather uncomfortable posturing in an attempt to hide our true goals we began to move on the manor in which the ships wizard's brother was being held though I fear for his continued existence since the wizard seems unable to locate him beyond the knowledge that he is within this building. We had a minor skirmish with a few guards while walking down the roadway who had been charged to escort us. After defeating them soundly we headed into a nearby alley so as to not be near the bodies when they were discovered. In an attempt at stealth all of us unable to cast a spell of invisiblity drank a potion to give the same effect and headed down the alleyway. Each of us were responsible for our own ability to circumvent the fence surrounding the manor and had reached the fence when we noticed a pair of demons coming up the pathway behind us I quickly flew over the fence there to await the other memebers of the party, once we had all convened on the inner side of the fence the Hadozzie noticed that the disreputable gnome was missing and mentioned that he had seen a spray of blood from down the alley. The devils clearly possessed the ability to pierce our invisiblity and the Monkey had decided that he needed to face them on the outer side of the fence. I decided that such valor deserved not to stand alone and so I flew over the fence to do battle at his side. After besting the devils we were alerted to a horde of guardes approaching down the alleyway though we had yet to see any sign of the missing Gnome. we passed back over the fence in an effort to have some control of the battlefield from there we did battle with the guards, the doors to the manor then burst open and we were forced to contend with a a young wizard who had taken control of an elemental of fire. he and the guards were defeated with little trouble on our part but these battles were rapidly diminishing our available resources. The prophesied one then discovered and healed the formerly invisible gnome and we decided to proceed into the manor since our presence was already fairly obvious. As the rogues headed into the manor they were struck by beams of green light, the spell seemed familiar to meand after a few minutes thought and observing the effect it had on the gnome I realized that it must have been a disintegration spell. The gnome was reduced to nothing more then a pile of ash much of which we gathered up that we may return him to this plane should his soul desire. After spending a great deal of time exploring the manor we came across a set of stairs that decended into what must be a magical workshop. When we entered the workshop we were greated by the sight of an Iron Golem and his red Wizard master. After a long and trying battle we eventually managed to make the wizard flee and and destroy his Golem after which the prophesied one felt that our best escape was to flee to Arvandor where we could rest safe in the arms of Corellon. From this place we begin to make plans to determine what needs to be done to rescue the Wizard's brother from the cluthces of these foul individuals, my only hope is that this tactical retreat has not rendered our objective impossible but until I am confronted by such a situation I will continue to put my faith in Corellon and know that his will guides my arm and spell. | |

Well, Beregon is still trying to make sense of what has happened. He was so close to rescuing his brother Elren, and then everything went wrong.
Of course, things had been going wrong since he failed to convince the guards that we were only visiting the Temple of Loviatar (and quite possibly before that).
So what did happen?
...
...
No, Beregon is still overcome with confusion and grief. He knows that he owes his life to his companions, but what happened. Did the Red Wizard know we were coming? Had he been scrying us while we were scrying him? Is Elren still alive? Is Elren still Elren?
We must regroup and find my brother and kill off the Red Wizard. Beregon is convinced that the wizard is up to no good, and slave trading must be eliminated.
More rest is required, Beregon's head is still aching from almost dying and then jumping through the planes.

What has Beregon become? Posing as a slaver, hauling around his companions like fresh "meat" for the markets?
It all went wrong when we left Raven's Bluff. First there was that teleporting error that set us off course and forced Beregon to use up two scrolls of Teleport. Those were supposed to be for emergency use as much as possible. Once we were in Mulmaster we appeared to be watched from every angle. There were questions everywhere. It started off looking OK with simple bluffs of the town guard, but at the inn someone was watching us. There was a clairvoyance/clairaudiance spell active on our room. We distracted it as best we could, but perhaps the jog was up already.
Exploring the town caused Beregon's heart to harden even more against slavers. Innocent people of all types (and some not so innocent ones as well he is sure, but still not deserving slavery) were for sale in the flesh markets of the city. It was hard to stay focused on the mission to rescue Elren, but discussion was made in perhaps freeing some others when we had the chance.
We found the manor in which Elren was being held, flanked by a temple of Loviatar and a temple of Shar, not a good combination.
OUr evening mission to infiltrate the manor went wrong from the start. Beregon did not convince the town guards that we wre only visiting the Temple of Loviatar, and they insisted on giving us an armed escort. We were forced to cut down the four evil guards to stay free from torture and death, but no before the alarm was raised. This led to a running battle through the streets and into the manor over the course of about 35 to 40 minutes. We killed off many enemies (town guards, manor guards and two devils from the temple of Bane), but the Red Wizard got away again and Beregon did not even see his brother in order to know if he was still alive.
The Iron Golem was destroyed, but it almost destroyed the party in turn. Beregon remembers everything getting black before he had a chance to quaff a healing potion. And yet, now we are in some celestial realm, and my elven companions are alive and happy, but I saw them fall. Did a deity intervene?
My head is starting to hurt again. Must rest more and think about my brother.

| | Correlon certainly is a mysterious sort, here I am having visions of the Monkey man, which lead me to freeing an angel, and now we have a priestess of Correlon and another Worshiper come to protect me, very interesting where its going, hopefully giving Mike lots of ideas for where to take things. | |

I don't believe we have much in the way of hamburger buns anyway. Hotdog buns - 12 i think.
Ice-Tea Mix is low but good for another day - Lots of pop.
BBq sausce 2 1/2 bottles, plenty of condiments and cheese slices - tons o those both lite and regular!
Pretty much the meat and buns again if that be what everyone craves. | |

Good session last night, will near death make Cedrith a little wiser? Probably not, but I'll try to get some save buffs, maybe a couple levels of Paladin
It was an excellent session indeed - although painfull as we can all atest to! 
I am glad Chris and I continued ... but ... that was pretty scary. I guess no guts no glory!
What will we do next ... ???
