I just put in my sanctioning requests, and reviewed my tournaments. I have Dreamblade requests showing for July 7th and 28th, as I put them in some time ago. The latest schedule doesn't have them. Is the consenses to drop DB for the summer, or should I fix the printed/webpage schedule to show these events? | |

Couple of things:
1. Mike, if you have a Dire Anything (except the rat) or any other cool animals I could borrow for the next league game, that would be wicked cool. (Thanks again for your donation last time - I think it'll really help me out in the next round)
2. I just realized that I will be in BC for three consecutive SWM tournaments in August!!! (Aug. 10 - 26) #@!*&?%$#!!
It just sucks that I will miss 3 games in a row - all three in the month! - especially now that there's more people showing up every time. I literally will play Star Wars Minis at the drop of a hat....sometimes even before it hits the ground...
Anybody want to play a just for fun game one extra Saturday in July?
3. Oh yeah...I'm gonna be a Dad again! Yay! Guess I really gotta grow up now...

I'll bring an assortment of Animals out and you can see what you can do with them.
As for last night 6 people out. Garret, Richard, Jay, Lisa, Richard, and myself. Only 1/3 of them playing Bahamuts and I had to face them both, I knew there was a reason I stoped playing Epic.

It actually didn't do too badly. I was fortunate to play against a fair number of medium sized creatures, but they ended up making too many saves. Mike's Epic Storm archer made 4 DC 20's in a row to avoid being swallowed, and Jay Warduke made two. And then I failed both my OOC morale saves against Jay after he'd killed my GFD. The band was reasonably interesting to play, but knowing now that the spider is speed 6, I don't think I'd play him again. But hey, it was able to take down a bahamut band. Tordek hitting 3 times for 55 damage wasn't good though. | |

Hi Andy,
1. I'm going to be sorting through a box of commons & uncommons today. I'll set any animals I find aside for you that I think you might be interested in.
2. We can take a consenses to see if one of the Starships games can be swung over to SWM. Of course if people are here and spontaneous playing of minis breaks out after the starhips game, that is cool too.
3. Congratulations! All the more reasons to play, and get those kids involved for some good daddy time. Don't grow up. Playing plastic men is way in!

See.....this is the kind of thing that Game Knight is great for - it has brought together a collection of really cool people. I might not be able to get down to the store to play as much lately, but I'll definitely be back again! It's looking like the League game next week will be the next time I can come down. If Star Wars is happening, I'll always be there for that!

In other news there's a Drow Cleric of Lolth in the case. Someone sold their colection to our freindly neighbourhood Beer Baron. Other highlights include a Bone Devil, Direboar, Snig, and Snig with 3 sniglets. I picked up a Wraith so you might see that one flying around in a game or two. | |

Stuff to note this week:
DDM "Wardrums" On sale all week, 20% off.
Wednesday - D&D RPG, A&A minis @ 6:30 - will anyone show up?
Thursday - DDM Ladder League @ 6:30, who will reign supreme?
Saturday - Night Below Pre-release! DDM, all day with the new set.
And in other news....
Night Below Release event sanctioning came through today. So we are confirmed for the event. MJ, they put my DCI number on it, so we can leave it or petition to have it changed.
Trade-ins finally priced. I have singles going back to Harbinger, with lots of hard to find commons/uncommons. They are now sorted by set and tagged with up to date prices.
Dreamblade sanctioning - before we decided to drop it from the schedule, I had put in requests for two DB events. The santioning numbers still stand, so if any DB fans want to see a game happen, and can coordinate it, the prizes are here. That dates are June 7th, and 28th (both Saturdays). If 10 am is to early, maybe try for 1:00 and do it as an alternative to DDM. (Just a thought).

| Good question. The answer is no, you're stuck with the same warband for all 3 matches.
Switching warbands between matches is something we've talked about for these events but at least for this time around it hasn't been implimented. Perhaps we will do that for a future LEague down the road should the general leaguiness remain a popular idea. | | | |
