| not sure if this link will work or not, but it lists all sanctioned limited events in Winnipeg from October 1st, 2005 to January 31st, 2006.
The January 12th tourney is there, but the November and December ones are not. | |

| Tonight was the DeathKnell booster draft, which saw 10 people out to play. Richard opted out and I played a game on the side with him (I won!)
Garret won the tourney, and I had some special prizes to give away - 1st prize being a choice of rares that WOTC sent out to me (from Merchant relations - they were leftovers, mix ups, etc) - Aspect of Lolth (sadly without any card).
Next week I have Promo Mina Dark Clerics (with cards) or Vampire Aristocrat (sans card). I also had more clear plastic Medium Earth Elementals and posters - Thanks WOTC!!!!
Besides this loot that showed up today for prizes, my rep called to say he was able to get 2 retail kits for me for June, and with luck I'll have them for next week.

Starting Jan 5 we S&R'd 3 a month, and it appears they have all of them.
I was running sealed/draft events, but they were not S&R'd, just our usual theme nights. I hope that settles that. If not come in and help me check over the records. | |

| Perhaps down the line we should look into scanctioning some more games on Saturdays.
I would volunteer to run the odd one so the Beer Baron could actually play and get in the DCI rankings. | | | |

| Sounds good, about Saturdays and Thursdays. I am sitting down now to do the July/August Schedule. So...MJ, how many and which saturdays do you want to sanction? I/you/we could fax in a new list for tournies in addition to what I have already (the first 3 thursdays in Jul& August already booked). Ditto for RM on the remaining Thursdays.
Also - what theme nights/days would you like to see. Chris Bachynski and myself are hammering out a schedule now, but I like to see imput from the fanbase. Post some ideas here and I'll squeeze them in. | |

| I could do one of every three Saturdays as I have to work one of three as well. That means it wouldn't be a regular every 2nd Saturday of the month kind of thing. If we can work around that I'm up for it.
I could run an event on July 15th or 22nd and August 5th, 12th or 26th.
How about a 500 point constructed on July 15th to capatalize on the new WotDQ minis, a 200 point constructed on the 5th of August, and another 500 point game on the 26th of August? | | | |

Ok Beer Barron Put me down for the 4th thursday in July for an extra 500 point sealed, and let me know what the date is and I will put it down in the system as a demo too so there will be 4 extra boosters of the oldest set wizards has in stock for prizes.
what does everyone think of that?
Richard why don't you take the extra thursday in august, I would but I will probably be in Montreal that weekend?

| RM - I like the idea of you/WOTC providing extra swag, so July 27th is good. If the young'uns can't afford it, I'll buy them their minis like I did the other day, and their "pulls" can go into the case.
MJ is here with me and we are filling in 4 dates July/Aug/Sept.
Sanctioning requests can be put in for each volunteer, and I can fax those in anytime. | |

| As far as Scanctioned events go that I'm going to run Saturdays we have it set as this so far.
July 8th - 500 Point Constructed. (The first chance to play with all those new WotDQ Epics in a scanctioned constructed tournament.)
August 19th - 200 Point Constructed. (Just to make Richard happy.)
September 2nd - 100 Point Constructed. (Just to piss Richard off.)
September 16th - 500 Point Constructed. (Everyone likes Epic, right?)

I got quite lucky with enslaves. Throught the day the Balor enslaved a Cleric of Lolth with 5 HP left, an Orc Champ at half HP, Rask at full HP, and a Hill Giant Barbarian at full HP.
I got a Centaur Hero in my booster and Jory got...well I can't remember. I traded in the Centaur to Baron (and $3) for another booster hoping to get a Beholder or Blue Dragon (I know stupid idea) and got a Bone Claw. Good news is Beer Baro has (I think) 8 Centaur Heroes. | |

| Hi Gang,
I'm working on that gaming schedule, and it's mostly done. I just wanted to find out if anyone has requests for Wednesday night gaming. It is considered "open Gaming night", and the crowd decides. We've been doing Star Wars RPG every second week, and there is no beer club over July and August. So there are dates available.
This week is Three Dragon Ante tournament. I am also planning to do Pirates, Zombies!, and maybe a Settlers of Catan night. Anybody want to see anything special?
Munchkin?
Star Wars minis?
Magic?

I've got a copy of it and have never had a chance to play it. I have played in the past though. So I'm up for that at some point too, probably a saturday as it takes a long time to play. some games can last several days. | |

Everyone knows what game I want to play, with some more sessions under my belt I just may be able to handel the DM's chair. Sadly that means Ricky would have to take a walk (he wouldnt make a good NPC)
unfortunately for Scott there isnt much money in it for the vendor to host a SWRPG night, as they are discontinuing the game. Cheers to him for allowing us to take up his time and space. | |
