Also, if anyone else has extra elf conjurers, mercenary generals, umberhulk delvers, or anything else that I want but don't know that I want, I'll be bringing the rest of my trade stuff too. | |

| Hey Scott, have the December SW retailer kits arrived? Unlike the DDM ones this month's Star Wars kit has an awesome Rebel Marksman repaint. Gots to get me one of those.

| @ MJ - SWM & DDM are coming in around the 15th. There were no releases early this month so I'm shipping them with the new stuff later in the month. (Do you know what the DDM stuff is?).
@ Richard - I actually have 2 figures of my own in a trade bag, and one of them is the Mercenary General.
@ Star Wars fans - Battle of Hoth exclusive (from WOTC) is here.

One of the 200 point warbands I put together has it going..... of course I can just use the 150 point warband, add 2 more cannons and have 8 points left over..... | | | |

| | Sigh, the ignominy of defeat. Looked like it was going to be just me and mike, but jory wandered in around ten to seven and then scott decided to play, so we had four. I had brought two bands, and probably shoulda switched to the dwarves when it was determined that we'd have a real tournament, but it seemed kinda shenanigany since I already knew what Mike had brought (we were just sitting down for a casual game when jory walked in). in the end my silly frost giant jarl rolled a 3 for his mc and a 3 for his rally check to rout off the board. I was rolling at +16. Not sure I woulda won even if I'd made morale but at least I coulda had a chance. When 102 of your 200 pt warband routs off the board you're kinda screwed. And to make it even more painful Mike pulled an elf conjurer in the prize draft which is something I actually need. Although the large fire elemental was nice too. | |

| A busy day of gaming lies ahead. Off to Star Wars minis in a little while.
And then starting at 2 PM I have my DDM demo at the Gamer's Lair outpost (794 Sargent Ave). Come on down and learn to play D&D minis, bring a friend. And stick around or just drop by for their 200 point DDM tournament in the evening starting at 6 PM.

| Things were a little slow for the DDM demo today, just a handful of people out. The cold sucks.
Still Gamers Lair was a nice place to run a demo, very friendly people.
No one was out for their DDM tournament but hopefully some interest has been generated for the future. | | | |

| Yeah, I demoed it for a handful of people. A couple bought boosters so that's a good thing. I let them know when the tournaments were there and at Game Knight so hopefully we see them around but you never know with these things.
They are committed to running DDM tournaments at Gamers Lair, perhaps when the holiday stuff quiets down and we get use to the cold weather playing on Saturday nights will pick up. Not to mention Thursdays and Saturdays at Game Knight.
They were running a magic tournament and just managed to get the 8 necessary to make it official. It appears attendance is down everywhere for the usual December reasons. A big turnout is expected for their Christmas pokemon party tomorrow though. | | | |

| In the area of the new league I'd like everyone signed up and to have their sheets submitted by the 22nd at the latest, I should be there for the Dreamblade tournament. I'll post the results that evening.
If you can't make it down to Game Knight in person before then either post here saying you're interested in playing or give Game Knight a call to have them add you to the list. If you don't have a commander sheet yet I can email it too you or you can just list 20 or so commanders here that you'd like to have (or email them to me to keep them a secret).
So far we have about 10 or so signed up, hopefully more to come. | | | |

Playing a strong theme band earns you a bonus 2 points every session which is as good as a free win. So if you're interested in gaining those bonus points choose commanders you can build a theme with. | | | |

Not a problem, in theory it shouldn't get that deep into people's selections but then again you never know depending how many players sign up....
