| Hey guys,
To anyone who will be out this week to skirmish, I will not be out. I was called in to work, so it will have to be next week. Over June, however, my schedule is hit and miss because of various contracts.
Keep well all and enjoy the nice weather.

| | Hrm. Well, finished early, was thinking about going to play, but if you guys aren't going to be there and there's no answer at gameknight I guess I won't go. It's a bit of a far drive to find no one there. | |

| The store was closed between 4:30 and a little after 6 when Mark got there, because Scott's wife had the baby over the weekend and Scott's been looking after her and the kids.
Tyler and I were there but I didn't think anyone was comming so I didn't bring any minis. I had left my SWM there the week before though so we had a couple games of that.

Ah. Congrats to Scott and his wife. Well, another week of exile and then I can start playing again.

| Hello,
I seem to have fallen behind here.
Add my congratulations to Scott and his wife. That means he will have to work even harder to pay the bills I would imagine.
On a separate note, I will be out this Thursday to skirmish, and then will have to work every other Thursday evening in June. Hopefully will catch you guys in July if the skirmish sessions last that long.
Anyone know what the skirmish format is this Thursday before I call Gameknight?

| Idzy,
Yeah, looks like we are in for terrible weather up to this weekend, hopefully it clears up on Saturday, as I am supposed to teach outside.
See you all on Thursday.

No, I had a very busy day and did not end up calling Gameknight. Will do so tomorrow and post here in the afternoon.

Behold the power of my Kobold horde.
Is a halfling outrider small or medium. You'd have a hard time catching him, quasits could be nasty too, most small or tinys have crappy saves right? Champ of yondalla might be nice too, ad the cleric of yondalla and some halfling wizrds, not sure if that works for the build total, but it could be fun.
Doesn't matter I can't make it tonight anyway. I was thinking about it, but it's just not gonna happen. Sounds like fun though, have a good time guys.

| Hello,
Well, it seems that I am too late in getting the info up on the board.
Idzy hit the theme, now lets see what people come up with. Not sure if I want goblins, kobolds or halflings. I might have tried a gnome band, but I don't think I have enough gnomes.

| Hey,
I will make sure that some form of report gets up on the boards here. Not sure how detailed it will be.
Kobolds are going to die, however. [:b]

| Hello again,
Interesting evening tonight. The little people were quite busy.
The winning band was Dan's Skittle Gnomes, which was as follows (I hope I get it right):
7 x Gnome Fighter 1 x Lidda, Rogue 1 x Champion of Yondalla
Those guys were really hard to hit.

| I kinda figured that Champion of Yondalla would carry some weight in that format. Must have been a really fun tourney. I wish I could have made it out.
On the plus side our monthly town council meeting was the most productive ever! Us young buck councilors seem to be gettin' stuff done. | | John

Where's your custom avatar buddy? I don't think anyone else has held off on that anywhere near as long as you.

| I think maybe that is the whole point of not having an avatar.
Yeah the champ of yondalla was a real pain in the backside.
I didn't even consider when I put my warband together, but even with +13/+13 she had trouble hitting my ac 24 Kobold Champs and conceal 6.
I went 1 and 2 but 2 of the games were very close. | | Champion of Champions (for all races! even Gnomes ) Reference Thread Winnipeg Gryphon Cavalry Forums

| Hey Guys,
Yeah, the lack of avatar is meant to be distinctive. Marks me out a bit compared to the rest of the crowd.
As for the "Little People" it did really come down to the rolls. If the rolls had gone differently I would have likely still been 1-2, but it would have been a different 1-2 scenario. Idzy "should" have beaten me based upon his band vs mine, but my rolls were much better and his stank. I could not hit his kobolds with anything except the Blue's mind thrust and the Blue Wyrmling I had. He, on the other hand, was ripping me to pieces when he rolled well.

| Hello all,
We have to keep posting here. The PEI guys are catching up! [:D]
On a more serious note, move on over to my various lists, I have many high demand minis up now and available at OK prices (in my opinion).
Sorry for the crass commercialism, we now return you to regular thread announcements.

I will be there, and there is not likely to be any more golf on thursdays.
The chase the case league has been ended because no one was really interested in paying extra for it. This was decided in discussions on Thursday and Saturday.
Its too bad really but there weren't enough interested players to make it sustainable.
I'm not sure what the plan is for this thursday.

Aww. I guess that means I'll actually have to buy two cases. :( Oh well, at least I still ended up with shiny deathknell boosters.

| Well,
We can all look at it this way. In the future, we can all win Angelfire boosters and hope to get more mini goodness. Plus, maybe a few more tiles and promos will come in for distribution.
Cheers [:)]
PS - Won't see you guys this week again. Actually, not unitl July now. Let me know about the formats of upcoming tournaments, however, so that I can prep.

A total of 12 hours can certainly make a difference. I now no longer have to work this Thursday evening.
So, what is the skirmish format for this week?

Sweet deal. You, Rob, and me makes three. All we need is one more for a tournament. Either that or me and my gauths are gonna get stuck in the middle again and get smoked. :P

Now that is an image I could warm to. [:D]

Apparently I can, I will be there tonight. [:D] Don't you just love it when you have no idea what the heck is going on in your life.
The format for tonight is 100point with random tile setup, I believe that means that for each figure you place on the battle mat you randomly ditermine which tile it starts on. should be fun. | | Champion of Champions (for all races! even Gnomes ) Reference Thread Winnipeg Gryphon Cavalry Forums

Well, I'll be there. I sorta have to, given that my computer's died and I can't play online, I gotta get my minis fix somewhere. Although I'd kill for a nice normal format one week.
