I think if I can get it up to around 1770 - 1780 then I could make it so I hope we can start running a lot of sanctioned constructed tournaments for the next few weeks. Even if I wasn't trying to boost my rating for Gen Con I want to do a lot of constructed with WoDQ just coming out soon.
Also, after looking into Gen Con more I've been getting too excited to miss out on it again. After everyone came back last year I was so dissapointed that I didn't go and made it my #1 goal to go this year. So I'm going to try to do whatever I can to raise enough money to make it and also to qualify for the championship whether through my rating or the grinder. So hopefully we could share a room or something SneakyJoe.
Anyway, if anybody wants to help me raise money I'll be putting up a list of mini's for sale (mostly older and more valuable minis) in the marketplace forum that you can all check out and see if there's anything you're looking for. Thanks. | |

I'm happy to hear that we are going to be playing 200 pt but unfortunately I just found out that I won't be able to make it this Thursday. Apparently we are going to be getting together with a bunch of family that will be here for my wedding this Saturday so I'll be pretty busy for the next week or so. I know the change to 200 probably benefits me more than anyone else so if you guys would all rather play 500 then don't worry about my opinion. | | I've only been married for a few days and it's already started...[:0]I won't be able to make it tommorow because it is my wife's day off and she wants me to sort through presents and go with her to return things and shop and such. I may never get to play mini's again. In all seriousness, I'll be starting to show up regularly again pretty soon. It's just a little busy right now and will be for the next two weeks also now that I think about it. Going on a backpacking trip with the guys before they're all of on their missions and then I have the honeymoon the next week. But after that I really will be showing up again to pretty much every event within an hour of me. I'm too addicted to give up that easy. [:p] | |
