Let's look at Wednesday's in February, sound off as to when you are available, and let's just pick one and put it on the schedule. We were doing this once a month, then started to fill other days that were supposed to be "open gaming" days, then D&D started and half the SWRPG group became unavailable on a bunch of dates. That has left half the group not being able to play.
My availability is:
February 7th - Beer club/not available
February 14th - available
February 21st - available
February 28th - available

| I guess it will be more or less up to Jay and Virgil as to when they are available. D&D takes you, Rob & Myself out. If we are to keep it up we may have to opt out of D&D 1 day a month in preference of Star Wars.
I was thinking about this, and I think I may go back to putting it on the schedule as the last Weds of the month. That way it is set and we can work around it. Our group is what, 8 people if everyone is there (Scott, Mike, Rob, Jay, Virgil, Garret, Will, & Kyle(?)). It is kind of tough to schedule around 8 people.
I just got off the phone with Jay, who is available tonight. He'll check with Virgil, and I'm sure I'll get a call later from Garret. I sort of suggested looking at running it tonight, as a new group (with reduced numbers), in a new campaign. Rob & Mike may have to decide if it is still something they want to do. I've also talked to Shadowlord, who wanted to come down to play something tonight, as well as Jory (Icetroll?), and a new customer who is looking for a D&D group. Right there is enough people to start a new SWRPG group or another D&D group. And we've got the room. Something for you to think about. Comments?
P.S. - I am still thinking that an open game night should be back on the schedule as well. Is that better situated on a Wednesday night? Friday night? Tuesday night? Sunday all day? | |

| Well you'll notice I put open gaming on my proposed schedule on Wedsendays. Friday night could work as well run alongside Dreamblade.
Are you thinking of opening on Sunday's now?

anywhoo, i still think that, well if we did hold off star wars mike, well, wait, how long is the dnd campaign going to run its course for?, and really friday nights work the best for me, but i can work my work schedual around wednesdays too

| I was just talking to Jay about the possibility of reforming a new group, on Fridays, twice a month. So far it looks like Jay, Virgil, Will, and possibly Garret. Myself maybe, if I could take another night off. Gotta gets me another employee.
I posted the above in the DnD thread, but thought it might work better over here. I'll talk to Garret, and see what works for him. Iknow Tyler and Jory are looking for an RPG group, although maybe not Star Wars. But I put it out there and maybe they'll be thumbs up. I don't think it will be too hard getting people once it becomes a regular thing.

| Okay, this is what i can do for all you starwas-aholics out there. I'm going to start a SWRPG game on Firday nights. it would be two weeks in a row then two weeks off. (dang swing shifts) so March 2nd would be the "get-together" where the PC creation would take place, the laying down of house rules and so forth. and if that is wraped up quickly we could start playing.
Also Scott was telling me that there has been intrest in setting up another RPG group seeing as the two that already run at the store are filled up. So this might be a good place to start for some of the "newer" gamers or for those who can't get in on the D&D action.
But, I am thinking of putting a Six (6) player cap on the game

Anyway, if I can spare a Friday (I may have to do some creative diplomacy checks) I would be in as well. I think this time around I need a more action oriented character. My first thought is to go with a Jedi Renegade, one who is being hunted down simply for being a Jedi. My second choice would be a straight up Scoundrel Smuggler (Han Solo-ish, but maybe more like Malcolm Reynolds from Firefly). | |

now the offical player cap is set at 6, but so far we only have about 3 or 4

B. Baron (if he can make the diplomacy check)
Garret (have not heard form him one way or the other)
Hunter (is out he couldn't ever make a diplomacy check high enough.)
and one last thing,
Will...Loose the smiley faces and the geek lingo. Please. We don't speak geek, and all those smiley faces make your post more difficult to read than they have to be. You don't have to post that your sorry, or anything like that. just a simple O.K. and a slight change of posting style are all that is needed.
