Let me explain.
The big picture is to find the four thingys.
To do so you must rescue someone, battle loads of monsters you've never faced before or never battled in a long time, escape not a dungeon but with your lives, and solve several riddles. | |

In answer to Shadowlord's original question, we finished "The Sunless Citadel" at the start of the month and are now working through an original adventure by Bach. Third level and counting.

Ummm, just a thought here, but if you are creating your adventure for our D&D group, have you actually asked Bach as the DM if he is interested or willing to run it?
It is usually considered a bit rude (some might even say arrogant) to simply throw/give an adventure to a group and expect them to run it without any previous consultation.
Just saying that you might be setting yourself up for disappointment and a nasty argument if you are expecting us as a group to play the adventure you are creating.

| Hello,
I was thinking that storming the "control tower" might help a bit. But it could also be suicide. As it is, I think we are in for a mess of trouble next session. The empowered burning hands or whatever killed off all of the other competitors are likely still active against anyone entering the ring (and possibly outside of it), so I would think we need to be careful.
One other thing. I just found out that there is a chance I might have to work next Wednesday. If that happens, do people want to continue playing without me, or should be delay and go three weeks straight after the first Wednesday in February and the Beer Club meeting?

| Here are our options as I see them.
1: A suicide charge into the ring to save Ugh. (Nope.)
2: Cut or losses and run, Nico rolls up a new character. (Shows promise.)
3: Hoof the DM in the nuts repeatidly until he gives us a situation suitable for 3rd level PCs. (Has a lot of potential.)
4: Sneak into the tower and hope we can find something to save Ugh. (Maybe, risky though.)
5: Zowie uses her bag of arcane tricks from the booth to attempt to give Ugh an advantage in the fight. (Might not work, perhaps the safest option though.)
6: Create a distraction bigger than the stoned naked halfling riding a dog and try and sneak away with Ugh. (Has a certain style to it.)
7: Hoof DM in nuts and make him run Tyler's adventure. (...... nah.)
8: Shenanigans. (Not sure where I'm going with that but I like the sound of it.)
9: Bribing the Half-Orc to take a dive. (Dumb, but probably not that dumb.)
10: Nico pays for the pizza for getting us in this situation in the first place. (I think we have a winner.)
