New D&D Group starting - players wanted! Matt Lane is going to start a group to play either on Wednesdays or Thursdays (depending on availability). He's posted a notice on our bulletin board, and I thought I'd mention it here. Jory, Tyler, are you guys still wanting to play?
Also this week:
Weds: AAM on wednesday - is anyone interested anymore? D&D RPGing.
Thursday: DDM 500 points epic
Friday: Boardgame club - Settlers History of Rome or Skullduggery

That's not necessary. You can play Thurs for free, or Saturday for the whopping big sum of $1. | |

| League does indeed resume this Saturday at 1 PM with the 9th session. It's still not too late for new player's to join in on the fun or for old ones to make a move in the standings.
After this session the botton third of the league will once again have a chance to replace their commanders for a new one should they so choose.

Just trying to match up DMs and players alike. GameKnight - your RPG lavalife connection!
I know we have some displaced players since the group shrank from the last campaign. Matt is my new guy who wants to DM the "Worlds Largest Dungeon". Since the other Mike folded his group, there is room for another. Actually at one point before Mike folded there was enough players for a 3rd group.
And there is another guy, Jeramy, who wants to start an RPG group for Saturdays here, but something other than D&D. Possibly "Mage" (by whitewolf), or Shadow-run, or something else.
Aaaannnnnd......(will it stop) Jay was talking of getting Star Wars RPG going again on Fridays. More details to come on this one.

Seems that I have missed out on quite a bit lately; the perils of having work for a living all over the province.
Well, I will be back for league, both sessions this month. Still debating if I can make if for part of the Pre-release, but I can make D&D Game Day.
Beer Baron, need any DMs for Game Day? I can volunteer if you do need chairs filled.

Yes, please!
I haven't put out a call for DMs yet, so consider this it. If anyone is able to DM on Saturday November 3rd, I do need volunteers to help make the day a success. There will be swag to give away, and I always make sure my DMs get their fair share.
So post here, or talk to me and I'll make sure i write it down (and I'll write it down somewhere I remember too).

| Hey all, once again the reports of my untimely demise have been overly exaggerated.
Ok first a bit of SWRPG info. We would play on Friday nights, two weeks in a row and then take two weeks off. As for the number of players, I’m looking at 4 maybe a 5th but that’s the max. Now for a start date, I’m looking towards the later part of November.
Work Schedule pending of course.
And secondly, this Friday I was wondering if anyone would be interested in having a game of “Original” Axis & Allies.

| With my Sunday D&D group now meeting on Fridays, I won't be able to do Star Wars for a few weeks at least. Once we sort out what day we're playing on, I may be available. I'd like to play that's for sure. It's the "when" I'm having difficulty with.
So if 5 is the limit, don't save a spot for me. If time allows I'll play a guest spot (maybe a villian or reckless hero).
As to Axis and Allies, how about saving that for the next boardgame club night? That way it won't interfer with MJ's demo, and I can get it on the schedule to help get more players. | |

| In the cayegory of Ladder League news the original plan was to run the 11th session on November 17th but as there could be a potential conflict with the Force Unleashed release event we had moved it up to the 10th of November.
Sadly as it turns out the 10th doesn't work for me as it's my mother's 70th birthday and we're having a big party in Brandon so I won't even be arround. Thus I've been forced to juggle the schedule again.
There will only be one League session in November as a result on the 29th. The 12th and final session has been moved to the same week on that Saturday December 1st.
Not ideal but having the 2 final sessions in the same week could make for some interesting play dynamics.
We still need ideas for DDM and SWN themes for December, keep them coming. | | | |
