| | I was reffering to using the new rules for WD. I just think it would be fun to mix it up a bit. Since they aren't actual rules yet, i'd be fine with the blank map being one of the options but that's just my thoughts. | |

| | no odd player yesterday, but we did get 6 players. That is up by 2 from the past several months. Drakkengi won and selected a deathknell booster as prize. Beholder. what a day it was for him. pulled a very close victory from Corim Danex in the second round. | |

| | Definately a great day for me! Though I would have been happy had I lost just because it looks like more people are starting to show up again. BTW, I just realized that I won't be able to make it to the next tournament on the 8th. So if you guys want to do a 500 pt. tourney that day it would work great for me seeing as how I seem to be one of the few who doesn't like the extreme battles. I just hope attendance keeps on growing and I definately would like to get a chance to play against you again Spikegif. | |

Who was there????? I was. A large magic release event was happening and no space as open. I was good that several regulars were sick, out of town, and bogged down with being behind work that they could not attend. We have one player show to without a warband to find out about upcomming events and a newer young player show. I played a quick game and that was it.

| | I just thought of an idea that I thought would be fun, cheap(in a sense), and really good practice for those of us planning on attending Gen Con So Cal. I know that most of the more regular players usually buy cases or at least a good amount of boosters so I thought that instead of just ripping through them all to see what's inside, save some of them to use for sealed games. That way no one has to spend extra money on minis they already have too many of and we get to play what is in my opinion, the most fun style of play. And if people were really nice, they could lend some of their boosters to others who might not have any for use in the game(of course they would be returned to the owner afterwards). I'd really love to get in as much sealed practice as possible before Gen Con So Cal, plus I just think it's more fun. What do you guys think? I'm sure we could do this easily at the Blackrose or maybe even game den, though I know that's not everyone's fav. place to go.[)] | |

Not sure how the store owners would like us bring in cases (or just boosters) to play with, but I would use the local store if they would offer a little more discount. as it is they lose out by not giving me a discount. | |

As far as I know, the plan is to bring or buy two boosters each so we can do real sealed play on the magma keep map as practice for Gen Con So Cal. I will also bring my entire Underdark collection and anyone who doesn't have boosters can just roll some up and join in. | Do to me qualifing for the Limited Championship held at GenCon SoCal this year, I will not be present to run the event this Saturday. I hope that this does not keep any who are not going to GenCon from comming out and playing.
Next time, December 3rd we will be running an Epic/Extreme event. 500pt with tiles. Huge are allowed along with the new epic version of miniatures. | |
