| I'll be at WF06. However since I'm so late to party I probably will just be playing RPGs and maybe a bit of 3 Dragon Ante. I really don't think I'm a competitive player except in a new sealed format or the old sealed format.
However I will be leaving Columbus Ohio on the evening Feb 21st with the intent to arrive in time to play Geoff LG modules on the 22nd. I'm taking my van so I do have room for a couple of riders. I'll becoming back on Sunday.

We've had close to the same presence -- this year we're getting one more body along, but last year we had both myself and Chris Perkins (the Design Mgr), and I think there were two the previous year.
WF is a good time to have an event - since it doesn't fall in the middle of other holidays or the main convention season. I think we miss some of the college/high-school audience we might get later in the summer, though. While we aren't yet to the point where we need another qualifier-level event (like the constructed and sealed championships), OP is really working hard to get a robust tournament environment going.
WF also gives us an opportunity to try a couple new things early in the year, with the hardest of the core audience -- both on the RPG side of the house as well as minis - since the con is much more focused on playing our games (compared to something like GenCon, where many other companies are involved, and shopping and seminars can push gameplay to the backseat).
Ultimately, I think that if WF continues to show strong support for DDM, SWM, RPGA, etc, then we'll continue to provide our support. | |

| Shoe: Thanks as always for the insight! I don't remember seeing you last year! It would figure... you guys hadn't really announced the change in roles yet... I had a blast with Rob in 04 though!
I also like the hint that perhaps some WarDrums boosters will make an appearance at the MaxMinis Draft!

| I've hit a snag - we're being asked to run RPG games during the Open Fiesta slot, which is Saturday 6-11pm. I'm going to try and weasel out of it, but we may not have Jesse or Matt, after all.

| Shoe, although it would be fantastic to have you there, I think we'll understand if you can't be... we'll be sad, but we'll understand.
Seriously, it would be great PR for some of the WotC guys to be in an event with say 25 or so players of the game. How many players would you be working with if you DM an event... 5 or 6 a each? So this would give you guys (if all three of you can attend) over 7 players each. Just some food for your weaseling.
If not we could always be bribed into not shedding a tear. | |

| Sigh... Still no update over at the WF website.
Well, I managed to score some Archfiend boosters (at face value!), so I'm going to be hanging on to those for MM Events.
I'll be drafting with Archfiends and Deathknell this time around.

OK, I'll check this out. The good news is Ian knows our needs for space. As long as we pay Ratty somehow (face to face rather than through the website), I suspect that we will be okay.
