| | Haven't missed a pre-release since I got into the tournament scene with Deathknell and don't plan on missing any in the future. So bring your "A" game guys cause I'm gonna be brining three other guys with enough skill to at least give us a "C+/B-" average. [:D] | |

Hopefully you are grading on a curve and you guys tone down your level of play for me. Otherwise I'll be brining the only game I got, which isn't an A that is for sure.[:p] | |

Hopefully you are grading on a curve and you guys tone down your level of play for me. Otherwise I'll be brining the only game I got, which isn't an A that is for sure.[:p]

| | I was talking to Spikegif again and he was talking about doing another limited tournament next week on Saturday at Hasturs. But instead of paying another $40 for two boosters we would just bring two unopened boosters from our own individual case/booster purchases and play with them. That way all of you who didn't attend the pre-release because you were busy or didn't want to spend that much can get another chance to play. Plus, I think sealed/draft is the most fun format anyway. If you guys would be interested in doing something like that then post here or I'm sure we'll have time to talk about it at the store (just try to show up a little early). Otherwise we could play a regular 200 pt. constructed tournament if people would rather do that. Anyway, just an idea to consider. | |

| | I just realized that I'm a bad husband. [B)] For some reason I wasn't thinking about the fact that I'll be on my honeymoon next week on Saturday so I won't be able to make it to the tournament. But the idea is still out there for eveyone's consideration. Spikegif would'be posted this himself but he went out of town today. As much as I would like to play another sealed tournament with WODQ I wouldn't be too disappointed if it ended up being a 500 pt. Epic tourney. I'm not sure what it is but I think Epic just doesn't seem as competitive to me and so I'm not that big of a fan of the format. Whatever ends up happening, I hope you all have fun....I know I will. | |

| 1 more day until the black rose. I hope that I do not have to say too late at work tomorrow. I would like to get some play time in and last week we had 9 players show.
With the number of players we are now having we can start having people pay in for prize support (boosters!!!!!) if you still did not want to pay in you may still play, but just not get the booster (you can still get the kit items) | |

| | Much to my dismay, it looks like I will not be able to show up to Blackrose on Thursdays for a while. Right now I am in training for a new job Monday - Friday 3 P.M. - 11. Then there's Gen Con in a couple weeks and after that my work schedule may prevent me from going anymore at all (though I will be doing everything I can to try and get that night off). This is a huge bummer for me because I really enjoy getting the extra practice in and it's nice to have a chance to boost my DCI rating more often plus picking up the Repaints/Epic cards is really nice. Anyway, you guys have fun and hopefully I'll be back in about a month. | |

| | Hope the party went well. I am pretty happy right now because I just got my schedule and I have Thursdays off so I'll be able to start showing in a few weeks. One potential problem for me is that I have to be at work by 3:30 on Saturdays so I was wondering if people would be ok with moving the Saturday tournament start times back to 11 or so. Obviously I don't expect everyone to change the schedule just for me, but I figured if no one has any issues with it then I could be sure to make it to all the Saturday tournaments and be able to stay the whole time. Any opinions? | |

| When it comes to minis, I can be up at any time. In fact I doubt I'll be getting much sleep at all while at Gen Con.
So did you guys play Epic or 200 pt? Don't take this the wrong way but I'm glad to hear you got your butt kicked. [:p] That means that the overall skill of the local players must be pretty good if they can hand you a loss like that. With higher skilled players we get higher competition which only makes us all get better. | |

Well, I lost some very important rolls and to stat things off my warband was not a good match up either. If I have played any of the other 2 warbands I was thinking about I "may" have done better. I was very suprized I did as well as I did even without the spell I forgot. | |

I got injured doing something simple=/. Quite embarassingly I injured my neck tying my shoe. lol. I was playing basketball and when I got home to untie my shoe something popped. next morning I could not move my head. It was a workout getting up. It has past now and I am cleared by my wife to play. BTW what is the format for thursday? I need to make a warband tonight. I will not be able to make it to Saturdays games. As I will be attending my companies Lagoon party =/. | |
