| Tundra scout warband looks neat.
We had a decent 10 person turnout despite yet another week of Drizzt cards. Both Paula and I went 3-0.
I played Vlaakith the Lich Queen, Huge Red Dragon, Githyanki Dragon knight, Zombie White Dragon, Orc Wizard, Orc Wardrummer, Swarm of Spiders, Cursed Spirit. | |

| What to play what to play as I sit here shivering, worrying about my Candidacy Exam tomorrow morning, and trying to figure out why I can only sleep for an hour or two every night for the last week and half.
I intend to be in Virginia or wherever it is they're holding the DDM Sealed Championships on February 17th. | |

I don't think I need to know completly what a candidacy exam is to wish you good luck. Hopefully, it doesn't matter that you are writing the test by now.
Maybe you're just nervous about the exam and that's making it hard for you to sleep. If you do good on it, then you might have a better night's sleep.
That or you can't come up with a good enough Dreamblade warband for the big tourny down in the states.  | |

No you probably don't need to know about the candidacy part, the exam part pretty much tells you what you need to know eh? No, the test isn't until 1 pm. And it's not written. Written would probably be better. I have to give a 20-25 talk on my research and then the professors on my committee ask me a bunch of questions to see if I'm competent or not.
I guess I could be nervous affecting sleep, but somehow I don't think so. I usually don't get nervous until the night before/day of and I slept reasonably well last night. Now I'm worried paranoid.
Not being able to come up with a good DBM band wouldn't affect me, since I'm not going to the states for DBM. And the sealed championships are sealed, so not much I can do to control that either. Although I wish they'd release the schedule so I can book flights/hotel and things like that.
On the bright side, my car started more easily than I did this morning. Apparently it deals with -35 better than I do. | |

| Last night Scott and myself worked out a schedule for January and February and the current thought is to add the League idea we've been passing around into the mix. The current thought is we'd have the League run every 2nd and 4th Thursday through to March.
I suppose a couple questions need to be asked at this point.
1) How many people are interested in playing in some kind of league format D&D minis?
2) Which proposed format to people prefer. Some kind of variant on an Eternal Campaign or a take on the Wizard's internal sealed league?
Personally my vote would be for the Sealed League option I proposed earlier. | | | |
