Great to see 23 people out, even though it was the Long Weekend, and several regulars were missing.
So, I will ask now, but I know the answer will come later. Who ended up winning everything? More importantly, what were the prize pulls.

Kevin won wit the Bhamut God slayer combo. his huge pulls in the two booster he won were a Bhamut and a God slayer. As for evey one else... Garrett beat Richard
in the semifinals.
Since both 1 and 2 got 2 boosters and 3 and 4 got one, we didn't play the last round. Kevin and Garrett diced off since WoTC needs a winner and Kevin won (Garrett rolled a 2).
Garrett got a Huge Fire Elemental and another uncommon in his two boosters as well as meepo and that touching tapestry guy as his rares. Kevin got another Aspect of Bahamut and Bluespawn Godslayer as his two huges (same two he had in the tournament) and I don't recall his rares.
Mike S got a blackguard on nightmare and dracolich and I got a cadaver collecter and mountain troll. | |

The schedule suggests Zombies for this week, D&D is the following week although that could always change. I can always handle DMing something given a little notice. | | | |

| Hey everyone in case you haven't heard I'll be running some D&D Minis events on Saturdays at Game Knight, the first one is this Saturday. And yes, they are scanctioned too so there's even more opertunity to build you DCI rankings in a month. [:)]
This Saturday's format is a 500 point constructed game, and it's a little special as it will be your first time to play in a scanctioned constructed tournament and use all your new spiffy WotDQ minis.
And if that's not incentive enough to come out this will be the Beer Baron's first chance to play in a scanctioned tournament.
Start time is Noon as usual on Saturday's. I hope to see you all there.

No, I did not win. [:(]
I had pretty poor pulls overall for the Pre-release. I did get the Cadaver Collector as one rare, but my other was the Wizened Elder Watcher. My two huges were Huge Fiendish Spider and Huge Fire Elemental. Uncommons and Commons were a mixed bag, but nothing too special (no stirges, wererats or dire rats).

| BIG ANNOUNCEMENT!!!
I have recently purchased a complete collection of miniatures going back to Harbinger. Yes, as of this moment I have one of everything available for sale.
What I want to do is turn this over rather soon and as easily as possible. I know that there will be calls for one of this and one of that (with multiple people wanting the same hard to find pieces. So I am going to start off by trying to sell them as complete sets. If anyone is interested in a complete set of Harbinger, Dragoneye, Archfiends, Giants of Legends, and so on, then email me and let me know. My preference is to keep some of these sets together and move them all at once.
If there is not sufficient interest in purchasing complete sets, I will then break them down for individual resale. This will take some time, especially with the new stuff coming out this week. So bear with me if you can. If you have a list of minis that you want, I'd be willing to look at it as a request and do my best to get you what I can. This again, will be difficult if I have 6 people all wanting The Orc Champ, Drizzt, Elminster, LSD, Huge Red and Gold Dragons, and so on.

| Friday morning...awaiting minis...... which should have been here yesterday or the day before.
Midnight Minis Madness was not what I was hoping for , with the lack of minis and all. I could have moved 18 cases plus single boosters, but my stock was limited to 9 cases left from the pre-release (it was good that I ordered extra). The prerelease minis were 11 days early, why can't WOTC get the regular stock here on time?

All in all a good case though the aspects would have been nice to get. Is it true that huge rares come in pairs? Dracolich - Sorcerer on Black Dragon, Aspect of Tiamat - Aspect of Bahamut, Eldritch Giant - Tundra Scout. Anyone else get the same pairs of pulls?
I've also got new Munchkin cards. I now have new monsters, treasure, Gnomes and Orcs, and a new class, Bards.

At the Pre-release we did not see paired rares that I am aware of. In my 3 cases today, however, the rares did appear to be paired as has been widely discussed.
Still collating things, but I am short the 2 Aspects, 5 Rares (all large) and 1 Uncommon (Warden of the Wood). I hope to do some trading tomorrow.

| Well Omand you aren't the only one missing an uncommon after 3 cases. I didn't get a single small copper dragon. Also i am missing a Meepo, Clawfoot Rider, Griffon Calvary, Spellscale Sorcerer, and a Magma Hurler. I have some rares for trade, i'm giving you guys first shot since you live here and that means no shipping.

| I seem to have got 2 near identical cases. x2 baha and tiamuts, green dragons*, slaughter stones. the really odd thing was that the commons and uncommons were also the same in there respective boxes.

| Just finished opening my first case, and now I'm afraid to open the other one. There's no way it can be as good as the first.
First case had:
Aspect of Tiamat and Blackguard on Nightmare
Aspect of Bahamut and Slaughterstone Eviscerator
Godslayer and Large Green Dragon
Mountain Troll and Large Fang Dragon
Displacerbeast Packlord and Redspawn Firebelcher
Purple Worm and Golden Protector
Both aspects and 6 large rares (although I already had the blackguard and redspawn, but still cool to have doubles of those).
EDIT: Well, 2nd case wasn't too shabby either.
Sorcerer on black dragon
Dracolich
Another Large Green Dragon
Another Firebelcher (my third)
Another Slaughterstone Eviscerator
Hobgoblin Talon of Tiamat
Magma Hurler
Spellscale Sorcerer
Not too shabby, also got a stirge in each case. Now to figure out what I'm missing.
2nd EDIT: And the bonus booster I got for going 3-0 yesterday had an eldritch giant and tordek in it, so if I can trade that eldritch giant for a tundra scout I'm set. Although if the rare pairs hold up, people with a tundra scout also have an eldritch giant so that might not work. But I got the four huge rares I really wanted. | |
