| Hey there, It's been a long time since I have posted and played minis, but if I could, I would like to get into the league.
I see that the Couatl and Sahuagin Baron are not picked, if its OK I would like to select them. I guess Mike is in charge off things so please let me know if it is OK. Thanks.

| The new D&D Minis League starts up this Saturday at 1PM.
I hope to see everyone out. As proved by Norm it's not to late to join up if you weren't in the draft. Just select 2 unchosen commanders and they're yours.
This league will be points based, the 8 players at the end who have the highest point totals go on to the finals. Everyone else plays in a relagation tournament for ome lesser but none the less valuable runner up prizes.
Each league win is worth 2 points. Every loss or tie is worth one point.
Players deemed to be playing a strong theme warband will be awarded a bonus 2 points, it's like a free win so start thinking of themes that work well with your commanders.
1st place in a tournament earns you and extra 4 points, 2nd is 2 bonus points, and 3rd and 4th place get 1 additional point each.
Players are allowed to bring a warband for each of their commanders to every league session. They must choose before pairings are announced which warband they will use.
During each league session after a loss players have the option of switching to their other warband, this must be done before the pairings for the next round are announced.
There will be no byes this League. I'm only going to play if it'll make an even number of players.

| 4 people out Saturday, Norm, Denise, Kristoff and myself. Norm was our big winner with the first new prize structure prize of $8. He and Kristoff redeemed for case minis and Denise is saving hers for a rainy day. Overall we have 3 people happy with the new prize structure.
This Thursday is 200 points, and the first league session on Saturday.
SWM Starships had Jay, Andy, Steve and myself. Nico didn't show, nor did Garret (booo WoW booooo). I had 2 great very close games. No Fees - no prizes - and it was just fun to use those little ships again. With Nico picking his cases up soon, I say we put it in the schedule once in February and have another go. | |

I will be out Saturday for league, but I am now scheduled for Thursday evening work for the next 12 weeks, so no Thursday skirmishes for me. I do hope that people come out, however, and play. The more the merrier as always.

Don't forget I'm running a Star Wars Minis Demo next Friday. Come one and come all and learn how to play the great game of Star Wars Miniatures. I have a couple of starters to give away to those who buy product along with promo minis for everyone.
I'll bring down some extra warbands for some casual minis play. Feel free to bring your own and join in.

| Well 4 out last night despite some missing regulars. Richard, Garret, Jay, & Ryan. Matt couldn't stay, so I didn't play. Another win for the R-man!
League on Saturday, and I stayed up to 1:30 (not playing WoW) getting warbands ready for Bram & myself. Too many options I think. | |

| | Yeah, people were kind enough to fail para/stun/morale saves which made my Dark Naga/Mind flayer lich/gauth/duergar champion combo rather effective. Basing a paralyzed creature with the lich, duergar and a timberwolf and then getting a bigby's slapping hand spell off can go through a lot of hp in a hurry. | |

| 10 people out for the first League session this Saturday. Norm, Denise, Nico, Chris L, Chris V, Jory, Bram, Scott, Richard and myself.
Richard was the big winner going 3-0. I'm going to try and post final results tonight but so far it appears that playing a theme warband will play big in how things turn out....
Andy, Joseph, Nico, and myself out for SWM. I went 3-0, good times.

| This Friday night starting 6 PM at Game Knight I'm running a Star Wars minis demo.
Come out and learn how to play a fun minis game based on the movies. I have free product to give out to all who attend not to mention starters and boosters to hand out to those who buy product.
I'll make up some extra 100 point warbands, feel free to stick around after the demo and borrow one to play some casual games or even bring one of your own.
And next Friday at the same time I'll be running a D&D minis demo at Game Knight and another one on Saturday at 5 PM at the Gamer's Lair Outpost on Sergeant. | | | |

Pairing in this league are random, not based on the standings.
