| Yeah I ditched the Jedi Hunter in favor of this guy. My 200 point army looks more like this.
General Grievous, SC Wat Tambor Battle Droid Officer Bodyguard Droid Superbattle Droid x5 Battle Droid x10
I advance in with the Battledroids screening everyone else. The Superbattledroids double attack with the Battledroids providing supporting fire. Grevoius and the Bodyguard take up the rear, engaging the enemy once they reach my droid line. I took on a mostly Jedi army and massacered them, my opponent netted 30points worth of figures I defeated all 200 points of his. [}:)]
I'm starting to like the Droid Side of the Force.[:D]

I've come up against so many of these bands and they really seem to get annoying after a while however they are quite fun to test your skill againts, but needless to say I thought I might as well try my hand at creating a band of the same type.
General Grievous, Supreme Commander 43pts Darth Tyranus 48pts Wat Tambor 35pts (Will either go for 5 Battle Driods, Or two SBD's) 1xBodyguard Droid 20pts 1xDwarf Spider Droid 15pts 1xSuper Battle Droid 10pts 1xBattle Droid Officer 9pts 5xBattle Droid 4pts (20 pts) -200pts

| I'd be very worried about facing a 200 pt Republic Jedi squad led by Ewok screeners/Force Deflecters. With tons of life, high defense, and abilites like Sweep, Force Burst, Lightsaber Assault, Precision etc, quality Jedi will slaughter more and more droids every turn as they cleave into the army.
It might be nice to include some extra anti-Jedi meanness, like Aurra Sing or Asajj... | | | |

| Well the Battledroids are not there to engage the enemy, the Superbattledroids do most of the shooting with the lesser droids providing supporting fire. I'm not that worried about Ewok screeners, the army has more than enough range attacks to eliminate them and still damage Jedi. If and when they do reach my they still have grevious and several double attacking Droids striking at +16. I'm more worried about somone using Jawas to attack my rear forces, specifically Grevious and the Bodyguard Droids. I'm tempted to include Aurra Sing in the army if I can get ahold of her.

| That's why I'm sure to keep the Battle Droids in the Front lines. I'm mostly concerned about my opponent smuggling them behind my army to hit my valuable units. Or even worse, Jawas directed by Veers ::Shudder::.[xx(]

| I saw a game of SWM for the first time the other day, a team similar to the one Net-Zumi posted. It was lethal, but then someone broke out a Jawa team. Talk about a slaughter, the amount of damage those little buggers deal to Droids is scary.

| If you have your super battle droids shielded by the battledroids you shouldn't have too much of a problem. The Jawas have to shoot at the closest foe(battledroids), which should hopefully preserve enough actions for the Droids to destroy the Jawas. You run into a big problem when you face Jawas directed by General Veers, his commander effect allows them to pick and choose their targets.
Still 100-200 points worth of Jawas is still pretty scary.

| | I'm going to try for more of a melee beat squad tommorow. It will mostly be made up of Grevious and his Bodyguard Droids, I'll likely throw in Sidious as well. | | Pathetic Earthlings. What happened?
I'm also planning on a Grievous Supreme squad like this:
Grievous, SC Darth Tyranus Wat Tambor +5 Battle Droid reinforcements Super Battle Droid x7 Battle Droid
Tyranus will give Grievous the Dark Inspiration (Grievous did mention that Tyranus taught him the finer arts of Lightsaber fighting) and provide also ranged (through Force Lightning) and close combat support. Wat Tambor is mainly for the reinforcements, heal Grievous, and provide the draw fire tech. The Super Battle Droids will provide the main fire power with the support and cover of the Battle Droids.
Do you think I should swap one Super Battle Droid for a Droid Officer?

| | I never ended up playing with that squad realy, I've been going with a Darth Tyranus/Darth Sidius/Sly Moore combo recently. I'd drop one of the superbattle droids in a heartbeat for a battle droid officer, fire control is just too usefull not to take in a 200 point army. | | Pathetic Earthlings.
